2028 Brysen Wright WR Mandarin

Great Sears interview, proceed with caution if you’re a Nevin hater lol. Towards the end Sears said he’d give in an “89%” chance that Brysen Wright ends up a Canes fwiw
NO CLICKS for Nevin, EVER..

He already reclassified I think? When he was younger
Yeah he has a borderline birthday like Toney, so he most likely just started early as a kid; he’d either be the youngest or the oldest for his grade.

Turns sixteen in a couple of weeks. When asked about if he would reclassify, he cited being already younger than his grade as why he won’t. Dad said he wouldn’t reclassify either but said they had a window on when they will commit {to a university}, “it won’t be before December and it won’t be super late. Let’s get thru the season….”

He’s a three and out caliber player, obviously. And a reclassification up would have him on pace to get drafted a few months before he turns 20; would be the youngest player to ever be drafted. So i don’t think they’ll rush it despite the speculation.

Thanks for that. I remember a while back asking this myself and thought that was the case

Wel see how it plays out. I just think the hype is going to go to another level with the season were about to have. Between that, relationships with the class, and that insane NIL package thats waiting for him, it might be hard to delay.

somebody said because he just turned 16. He’d be too young after his junior season to go to the league.

While all that is super legit,

I have a counterargument-- Who is going to develop him better, his HS coach or Miami's staff under Mario? if he doesn't want to go to the NFL until he's 21, just play in college for 4 years. And I have Exhibit A in Armondo Blount, who was 16 when he joined the team. I hope and expect Blount to stay for his fourth year in 2027. He may be graded out just too high by the end of this season. More likely, though, he'll get a Moten grade of Rd 3 and stay to go R1 after next season.

Life is more than football and money. So I get why 99.9% of student athletes want to and SHOULD stay with their class. I just think the rules apply for the elite guys. They get so much more value in terms of development and NIL by being with a top program than staying in HS. JMHO.
