2028 Brysen Wright WR Mandarin

This was way way back in 2026. I dont care that it isnt composite we cherry pick star rankings to. Like i said this means nothing towards Wright. They will still be our main competition. View attachment 366656
They are listed as warm for all the top 5 Wrs in 2028, and the 7th ranked WR is a top 30 overall player From Cinci Ohio they are also on....
26, two top 5 WRs by On3
27, they currently have 1 and are also pursuing Sales who is 2nd.
28, I highly doubt they get both Harrison and Wright.

They'll land two top WRs. It just is unlikely to be Harrison and Wright.

I’m keeping it p, I don’t think Ohio State is gonna commit the funds for two top 2 WRs after getting tapped in the CFP. This recruiting class(2027) has shown a shift in philosophy. We keep throwing that ball and winning, we will sit pretty good with Wright. My concern is who FSU hires if they fire Norvell but that’s a can to kick down the road later on

Y'all are being the debbie downers now. Clearly good news here.

We all are aware it isn't over. No use arguing something we all understand

Jett going to Ohio State is better for us than if he's going to Oregon.
“We got Jett guys no need to get Wright now” - what Shadowspring thinks goes on in the recruiting war rooms of OSU.
I absolutely never said anything like this. You people are making a scarecrow argument that I didn't make

They recruit every position well traditionally but they’re really prioritizing the trenches in the 2027 class and it’s 100.0% because of what Mario and Cignetti did to them.
Yeah ok but the best ot and OG went somewhere else . It takes years and the portal to build the trenches like ours. They’re not recruiting them at our level

Man I’m not gonna sit here and glaze Taint but they got 6 Top 100 recruits committed, and 5 of those are LOS players. They’re clearly prioritizing the trenches. Not like they don’t sign highly ranked OL/DL every year. They do. But last class they signed 7 Top 100 kids. Only 2 were on the LOS.

They got pushed around last year. Most notably by us. They’re trying to not let that be the norm going forward. All I’m saying.

Get that one year we recruit ol and dl every year . Not just one or two . They have a lot of de I seen that and ot they have one DT . They don’t prioritize the Dl like we do

We beat them last year and we clearly won the battle at the LOS but people have really overstated just how bad we beat them. We were held to under 300 yards and it was a 3 point game with 6 min to go when we finally slammed the door on them.

The big win was that we went head to head with the most talented team on paper and according to the NFL draft and not only held our own but out right beat them. It was still a battle through and through.

There was that sequence where Sayin missed a wide tf open TE in the end zone right in front of him and then the pick 6 was the next play

I remember doing a stat dive on this a while back. Despite not lighting up the scoreboard I believe we were the most successful offense against them in a ton of different metrics last year

Just shows how ridiculously good their defense was. Beck was super crisp in this game and we had zero penalties IIRC. Cleanest game of the season for us and was still a dogfight. Their RT will never recover from that game though

I’m talking about THIS CLASS.
Me too, they have one DT we usually get 3 or 4 . They have several DE and Ot this class . They neglect DTs every year . Show me https://247sports.com/college/ohio-state/season/2027-football/commits/. Not trying to debate just don’t see them ever paying for kids like Scott , Brewster type. Our De we recruit a lot are high rated that can be play both De/ DT because they come in at like 230 to 250 two years they’re closer to 280 . Blount is one example

Dad saw FSU fall into oblivion, can’t blame him for wanting to be sure

That said, we’re going to be elite this year so just take care of business again
I remember when DJ Pickett's Dad said the same thing about wanting to go to an elite winning program & DJ Jr playing in big games.

Meanwhile, Brian Kelly went 9-4, then was 5-3 & got fired before the season ended.

Miami always gets held to this bullsh*t standard that no other team has to abide by.

Dad's have no problem sending their kids to losing schools as long as it fits whatever dumbazz narrative they wanna put beside it.

Miami put the Nation on notice when Killa Cam came & changed the trajectory of the program. Then we made it to the big dance last year, now this year we have another Cam Ward-esque QB & another elite Defense that will ultimately get us back to the Natty game.

If Dad's still wanna play this horsesh*t game of holding the past against us, then that's on them.

Any prospect with an IQ above 50 should be able to see that Miami is on par with the likes of OH ST, Noter Lame & any other top tier program they think can win it all.

We're actually ABOVE programs like Noter, Oregon, Texas, TAMU etc..

His dad isn't an idiot

TrumpyCane saw him post saying he wishes he could have his son go to FSU but he isn't sending him somewhere where he cant win or get paid
