I think it is naive for us to sit here and think he wouldn't prefer his son attend anywhere but the University of Miami.

You also can't deny he is looking at it objectively and the only thing that will trump his dislike for the team personally is if it is indeed the very best option for his son.

That's the fact though we get Brysen if and only if we are the clear-cut best option and not just the kids preference. If there's even the slightest ***** in the armor daddy is gonna push him to Texas or OSU. Ultimately its his decision but its going to be a tough pull because his dad clearly wants it to be anyone other than UM

It will not come down to money as everyone will be willing to throw big money at him, the ability to develop him and have him play for a title will win out

Exactly. Why would you say-----yeah we love Miami and are blocking any other offers and just kinda hoping that produces the best outcome---$$$ and otherwise.

Maybe because Toney and Barkate are top 2, and we need the bigger downfield presence that is a pure X type.

Wingo if he is very good immediately will be Barkates primary backup I’d guess. Can he be X? Probably. I view him as a guy that just isn’t a slot wr.

Upshaw (or Barkate sliding in) will be Toney’s primary backup, but also can play behind Barkate too.

Moore is a clear X. Vaughn in that role too. Jacobs can play either that or behind Barkate/Wingo as well as a Sacrificial deep threat/big play guy.

I'm not gonna pretend to be privy to Taint's finances, but I just don't see them paying for Harrison and Wright. Not like they won't croot him or turn him down or anything silly, but I wouldn't be shocked if they don't "push". Maybe I'll change my tune if they get Sales too on Friday and prove they're willing to spend top dollar for two five-star WRs, but for some reason I think we're in the driver's seat here. Texas will definitely push. Florida obviously will too, but if they go 6-6 or something, I just don't see him going there.

But the comments about "reconnecting" with taint from his pops were telling, to me. Wiltdong obviously sees it the same way. Long way to go, of course, no reason to decipher every syllable at this point but I really think if he was needing to decide today, he'd be ours. Mario is going to do everything he can to get this kid.
