Just a thought, but how do you think Searles feels having to get his guys to block for plays the D knows is coming?

Firing those two means nothing. It's the play caller that is the #1 issue. No O-Line or QB coach can fix this O. A good play caller will.

Totally agree Thomas. I am hoping that he hires an OC that will take complete control of the Offense and take over the QB coaching position as well.

Jon Richt is equally to blame for being a terrible QB coach as Rosier is to blame for being a terrible QB.

Jon wouldn't be coaching qb's at any other power 5 school. Mork wanted to work with his son and he thought if he helped with qb coaching it would mask any deficiency of his unqualified son.
 
You know what, it's not Mark's fault either. Blake James gave $4 million per year and carte blanche to an old washed up coach who had just gotten fired for being old and washed up. Blake James has proven to be an unmitigated failure and needs to be gone.

Be smart Mark. Give up the reins to the offense. Hire a killer OC who can bring in his own QB coach, OL coach. Replace the special teams coach.
Get Jon an understudy position with a real QB coach somewhere else. Sit back and enjoy the view of the IPF from your brand new office while you continue to bank. Option B is to go down in flames. Easy decision here.

You may have hit the nail on the head - especially since it's been preached about bringing former players "back" and getting them more involved then in the past.
