Bruce suspended for Saturday

they better tighten **** up at UM with these last minutes annoucements the year we open with LSU,

How will fans getting last minute announcements affect the game?

maybe Bruce was known before, but the ones from Saturday no-one did apparently, and then the players have to answer questions about it 2 days leading into a game, just announce it not game week

Oh boy. The reason suspensions are always announced last minute like that is for strategic purposes. That way the other team has to account for them in the game plan regardless of the fact they won't play. Hence wasting time in practice on irrelevant matters.

Kind of like AQM and Grace taking all the first team reps during camp, only to have the school end their careers a week before the season starts.

Wether the glass is half full or half empty is simply a matter of your perception. But yeah, sortve like that. In this country it often does seem like people are raised with a victims mentality... but that's a much bigger problem for a much larger forum. So I'm just gonna leave that one alone

Put an asterisk next to the stat when he sets the single season receiving records for catches and yards in one fewer game than his contemporaries.

Here's one of the geniuses who was claiming UM mishandled the punishments. He's gonna dig those stiletto heels in though.

You're dumber than a bag of hammers.

I'm exceedingly thrilled that this was discovered now before a game was played, or before those guys played any games, rather than mid season having all the stuff blow up in our faces. Hey, how about if all this busted open before the FSU game?

Imagine: agents, luxury cars pictures all over ESPN, crooked lawyers, oh yeah that would've worked out real well. NCAA investigation.

Get on your fūcking knees and thank the sweet baby Jesus that compliance did its job

Wasn't his suspension announced several weeks/months ago? If memory serves, it might have even before he stepped foot on campus.

Im not certain by any stretch (would have to dig into bylaws again), but I dont believe SB was suspended as an NCAA issue per se...but rather as a "Coach's choice" because he violated team rules...but wait...wait...

What is curious is how several here were screaming, "Richt is wrong! Sam's just a HS kid! Does Richt have Sam's back.... blah blah blah..."...with zero knowledge or understanding of his status as a PSA...even funnier that these board "experts" didnt even know what PSA status is...so by that mechanism, one could connect the NCAA to SBs suspension because its the NCAAs guidelines for PSAs that Miami used to take its action...but keep listening to the "experts" here and lauding them for how smart they are...

Those "expert" voices seem to have gone hoarse all of a sudden...or maybe its amnesia?? mmmmmmmm

In that light, unfortunately for SB...he in point of fact, was not "just a HS kid"...not saying I agree/disagree...but those are the rules he voluntarily signed up for...eyes wide open or shut...

Perhaps instead of a suspension, maybe Richt could have considered extra laps + good behavior from then until now as a way to work through the issue. He made his decision as program leader, and thats it. Message sent to team...good or bad...time to move on.

Keyboard gangsters throwing around insults………….nice! type in all caps, say it with your chest! lmao!

the benefits rule is stupid. kids will continue to collect benefits, because college football is a lucrative industry….there's money to be made, it's been going on forever, and it will continue.

thank God the bag men are doing the good Lord's work, making sure kids are duly rewarded for the financial windfall they bring

please throw around more insults……it allows me to easily identify the sensitive thugs.
