Brown speaks on offensive struggles and locker room "cancers"

The only cancer is his million dollar salary to do jack ****.
Didn’t we do the same thing with Jim Morris? He had one or two good seasons. Then he got an extension and just sat on his laurels while the baseball team fell apart. Richt wins 10 games the 2nd season he’s here, gets an extension, and now he just goes into semi-retirement playing a chit QB and the same tired plays over and over while we get destroyed by any team with a pulse and some (UVA) that don’t. This team farts around on the field all game and sucks at basically every aspect of the game. The defense has improved, but you can bet your *** that Diaz is gone after this season.

So, if you’re not a leader or a follower, what does the third party consist of?

“You’re a cancer is what you are,” he said. “So not a good thing... Cancer in the body spreads, takes over everything. So one is enough. I’m not trying to call out individual guys. There’s only two categories you fit in: part of the guys who are leading this team or a guy that’s following. There’s not room for anyone else.”..tbh I can’t identify the leaders on the offensive side of the ball. Jeff Thomas seems like a quiet kid. Cager doesn’t produce quite enough. Malik is malik. Homer is a just do it type of guy. Perry, you have to know the playbook to be that guy. The oline..If u get whipped u can’t lead. This O needs a alpha dog. Last year u had Walton and older guys to lean on. The year b4 you had kaaya who a lot in the fanbase gave slack but there’s no doubt the O looked up to him and respected him. What Brown hit on Is true. Especially in a football team and your struggling. Mix that into the youth that we are dealing..I hope he truly had that talk with them cats

I don’t think CMR is a cancer I think he’s actually an amazing face of a program, what’s a cancer is some of the BS the coaching staff is putting some of the kids through (it’s not all the staff but some). Love how over spring not one player was a cancer but after some questionable coaching moves and some players not agreeing now those kids are cancers? I can name some of the kids they are probably referring to but I can promise they aren’t bad kids or cancers to any program (no names will be typed)
Agreed! Richt is a good face, mentor, family man and etc but we need a coach that will light some fire on some asses, whether it’s a actual OC to run the offense or just a new HC. Listen I like richt and what he’s done to a certain extent ... but a 6 play offensive scheme and now staffers stating about possible “cancers” on the team isn’t the way to go. My man is on his way to lose the team imo if this bs continues.

Listening a couple times to Brown and Travis Homer they seem to both be calling someone or several out for some reason. I would expect we will see who is not starting or getting much pt against Duke and will know who it is. Hopefully they take the challenge and man up.

Thomas Brown is not a real OC. How many OCs don't call plays on game day? I would love to see him actually call plays.

Of course if 11 guys execute every play perfectly everything would be fine. But when you call plays that everyone knows are coming you are making it extremely difficult for your guys to execute. It is a lot easier to execute when you are mixing it up and confusing the defense.

These coaches need 11 NFL caliber players to be able to execute to the level they are expecting with this offensive scheme.

The only person that pops up in my head is Perry

Stop acting like Miami was some great team and Richt came in and burned it to the ground. Miami has been average for a long time. Shannon years through Golden Miami was 64 and 50 for a 56% winning percentage. Miami was crap. Richt through this year is 24 and 10 for 70%. Growing pains and decisions haven't been perfect but I'll take this all day over the last 15 years. Give the man a chance to right the ship, he isn't a moron, its going to be two more recruiting cycles before we get to where we can compete on a regular basis. I think he gets it done, just won't be on the timeline everyone wants. Too much work to be done.

The really ODD thing is they mention cancerous and that’s one of the reasons they say plays aren’t working, because of execution, but I can’t really think of one starter (I can honestly think of only one) that would even seem like a problem so how would the cancerous individuals effect the execution when they aren’t even playing anyways.

The man himself along with Diaz said 3 classes of his own to get back. They repeated this again in the spring. 2019 will be his 3rd full class. 2 more classes is unacceptable.

Fck him. For real. Parents trusted your bull chit and now b/c you refuse to take accountability for this dumb chit play calling, you have the audacity to try to pin this on the players and call them cancers if they are not leading or following? Follow what? Ninja ya'll make no half time adjustments, no coaching on the side line, and can't crack 30 points since the jig came up that your anointed QB can't throw for chit even if there is no pressure on him. This staph is echoing the same staph that just left out of here. IRS needs to tax his *** for collecting free money and not reporting it.

They sound crazy as **** with this execution BS.
"So Coach if everyone, all 11 execute correctly is that said play a first down, touchdown, 2 yard gain? What results does a perfectly executed play get?"
This staff is full of it.

This guy has got to go in the off season no way he earning his salary here. Fire him and bring Yost or another innovative coordinator likely won’t happen but that would be the ideal move.
No good assistant coaches would come here.
Program is too UNstable..

Exactly. Bench those that don't execute and play those that do. If you don't have any who can execute? You recruited them so.... Craps on you buddy. Go have your well done steak.
A poor cut of meat tastes better WD,, mabey even charred..

So if the offense executes, Thomas should, for example, have 10 catches vs UVA and not 1 catch for a couple yards?

Seems legit.

From 1994 till 2003, Jim fielded an excellent Baseball program..

Even after an emotional victory vs FSU it was reported we were having terrible practices, some of those guys just don’t play with no heart, had everything to play for and come out with a terrible performance vs uva and now bc after a bye week. Yeah the scheme is terrible but it hasn’t been THIS bad like we have seen the last 3 games. Just because richt is a sh*tty playcaller doesn’t mean the players aren’t down right giving a sh*tty effort either

Our offense didn't look stellar against FSU either. And if you have players that can't practice hard, again, that's a culture problem. If you have a culture problem, it's up to the HC to establish the right culture. That's a convenient excuse to use in year 1 which is what Taggart's doing in Tally right now (notice that Mullen's not having an issue). In year 3 when a majority of this roster is your players, that's no longer an excuse.
