I pray this kid has speed, that's what our secondary desperately lacks outside of Fitzgerald and Scott. Lucas can run but doesn't seem fluid as he's big CB

My heart always pauses anytime a team throws the ball deep as I'm expecting that WR to be open. Maybe it's PTSD but we need lockdown CBs

We gave up 5 plays over 40 yards this year

3rd best in the entire country

He said the Miami defense only gave up 79 runs of 4 yards or more.

That is super impressive. Thanks for pointing that out. Repeating it because it was a little confusing as written

lol that ish confused me too! I was thinking that’s a low ahs number, but way buddy wrote it made it seem like it was an astronomically high amount lmao. A chunk of those came in the VA tech game.

What?

We had one of the best CB groups in the country this year. And OJ, Lucas, and O'Connor all have great speed

I swear there's so much recycling of complaints from previous Miami teams on this board it makes me wonder if half our fans even watched the games.

OJ is a good CB but does not have great speed. Our overall CB play is better than it's been in years but like any team we have to continue to improve; speed is one of the areas we need to continue to grow in.
