Bro ball needs more praise

How we don't have RB recruits lining up to play for us is beyond me.
Mallory gets it and is made for our style.

Cooper think he’s going to be the next Adrian Peterson (highly unlikely) and wants his money whether he becomes that or not.

Lamar likes to bounce everything outside. He may not prefer our style of running but he would do greater things here than at UGA. He’s also from rural Georgia and likely thinks Athens is big city, and Miami is in a foreign country.

Was a real quick way to find out who don’t know ball tho.
People definitely prefer certain styles of offense. But I think the point remains in all sports that there is more than one way to win if you have the right personnel.

Look at the NBA. The Warriors had everyone trying to play small, fast and shoot lots of 3 pointers. And it worked for them. But no on ther team could mimic what they did.
Then along came Cleveland which had a great regular season playing with 2 bigs. And OK City won it all with a superstar guard who rarely ever takes a 3 pointer.

Playing fast worked for UM a few years ago because our Oline couldn’t sustain blocks. And we hated Lashlee’s running calls, which are similar to Dawson, but a lot less effective because we didn’t have a Cici, Bell, Cooper and friends at the time.
Now we likely play as slow or slower than any team not named Georgia Tech. Watch how late in the play clock we snap the ball. Typically under 10 seconds, even in the 1st quarter. Now we are reducing possessions the way Tech did to us last year. FYI, that game may have 8-10 possessions the entire game; 4-5 for each team so we better make the most of them!

We have a coach who excels at recruiting Oline so he has made that the focal point of the team. And by the time our Dline finishes practicing against our Oline, the games must seem like playing a scout team.

This is a long way of saying that some of the people you refer to were not necessarily wrong depending on the personnel at the time they stated their positions. But they are wrong if they still look at our team the same way with this personnel.

A lot of posters who wrote entire novels before the season bashing Mario and almost everything he does, are now missing.........

If Lyle isnt back soon we need to start either incorporating Pringle into the offense or start giving Ray Ray Joseph some hand offs like we used to do with Brashard Smith. We need someone to hit the big play in the running game. Michigan won the natty playing this way but Haskins and Corum could pop big runs.

I'm glad so many people were *****ing about no outside/off tackle runs. Dawson obviously heard it and decided to integrate it into the gameplan

This December, please do a search on the phrase “Fire Mario.”

Pull receipts and tell some porsters to STFU.

We haven’t won anything yet. Mario, and everyone else, still have plenty of opportunity to **** everything into oblivion.

But I don’t know, I’m aware I’m really weird and on an island with this, but I enjoy taking two of our biggest rivals and straight bodybagging them, physically, down after down, on national TV. Call me crazy, but there’s something incredibly enjoyable about watching your team physically beat the everloving **** out of programs you hate.

I’m just happy I have a coach who is a lock to build a roster who can compete physically with anyone in America.

Call it like you see it. Mario and bro ball completely put that game away in a critical must score drive.

13 plays. 80 yards. 7 ******* minutes

Started with 11:10 left in the 4th and ended with 4:08 on the clock.

Brown and Fletcher with every carry/catch

I honestly was complaining for more running throughout the game because we just kept falling forward every single carry. This team can go very far when you can run the ball and the opposing defense can’t do anything to stop it.

4 & 6 are tough dudes and perfect for this team, but our running game will only get better with 2 in the mix.
