Bring back the turnover chain, Mario

It was a lot of fun, for the players fans and the media.
It was by far the greatest turnover prop ever, gave the U another singular identity along with the U on the helmets.
Can’t think of any reason not to do it.
No. It belongs in the dustbin of history; reminder of a soft culture of all show and no go.

I want us to run up the score against them more than FSU.

I sat through 2020 against UNC. Do it to Duke
Duke’s worst football loss was in 2000, 70-7, to Miami…..of Ohio..

So the Canes need to cover 63 points to get Manny in the Duke HOShame.

Creating turnovers is part of your JOB as a defensive unit. The Turnover Chain was fine when it first started, but once it got to the point where it was a thing in its own right, it became too much. Dudes were amped to get the chain, despite being down 30+ on national TV. It was a joke, and the TD rings were even worse. No thank you. Do your **** job and celebrate on the sidelines without the prop.

Leave that ******* chain in the box.

We used up all our turnovers for like three years after 2017 because of that ******* chain.

We needed it at the time. No longer necessary.
Now we can sit back and watch other programs try to figure it all out in desperation while we set the tone.

Nope. I usually don't crap on people, but dumb idea.

Don’t ever ever bring back the TD rings, that was horribly corny. But I believe the turnover chain will come back in the playoffs or championship games ONLY.

Nah - but let's keep trollin tf outta the opposition and chirpin at their croots. That's Canes.

If it somehow made a one-time only come back against FSU in a big moment when we were up big (think Powell’s pick Saturday), then I’d be all for it. Would be a cool surprise moment. One time thing. Other than that, hard pass - especially over and over again.
