NFL Brian Flores Suing NFL for Discrimination

The most egregious is Eric Bienemy. How has that guy not been hired for a HC position when owners hire people with less of a resume?
Be curious to see Demeco Ryans as well

I think Shanahan is a solid coach but Ryans is 1000% the reason that team made it as far as they did. If he’s not a HC after next season something is wrong.

I know he’s only been DC for one year but he’s ready

Thats just bull****, tons of NFL head coaches wont get fired after going 19-14 in two seasons.

There a lot of moving pieces to the Dolphins-Flores **** storm

But he did NOT get fired for his W-L record or the color of his skin

There's a difference between civil and criminal. If they brought him in to interview solely on the basis of his race just to say they interviewed a black candidate, how is that not discrimination?
Then the rule itself is the problem because it’s forcing discrimination to happen. That argument makes no sense

Oh absolutely. 49ers defense and Debo are the reasons for their success.

i've always said that the Rooney Rule was nothing more than a show (for the most part). If the allegation below is true, then it proves it.

Well, if you take a random 202 football players with 111 of them being from the NFL and demonstrate 110 of them have it, either way you cut it, thats quite obvious.

Regression is a ***** but the vast majority will still show clear signs of it. This discussion will never end until CTE can be diagnosed whilst the patient is alive.
My point is that it wasn't random. It was players whose families consented. They had motivation to consent.

I don’t care what he record was he missed the playoffs every year especially in year 3. BTW he played The Jets twice each year so let’s try to keep things in perspective. He also was 0-6 vs The Bills and the games weren’t even close.

Rooney Rule is part of the law that the NFL has set up in their league, hence why a class-action lawsuit can be filed in the first place.
Never argue ith a guy ith a point to make about iS iT a LaW oR nOt when he has a scripture as his signature.

Dead giveaway.

Well, if you have a continous chest ache, you get your heart tested.

There are tons of players in retirement where you can literally hear that they have an underlying issue at hand.

I have explained the issue 10 times now, go back and read it or leave it... and not just I have, dozens of others have as well.
Oh because YOU HAVE SAID IT you must be right. You line of thinking is just ridicule's. I guy didnt get a job so everyone must be a raciest - brilliant.

The idea you demonstrated is based on the exact same idea and execution the Rooney Rule is based on. The only thing you are doing is base it on job hires and not interviews. But, in essence, still the same.

It's supposed to be a meritocracy. We all know it isn't. So giving owners a fig leaf to show they aren't racists is silly. Owners have no financial incentive to actually hire a minority candidate, they have an incentive to do pretend interviews. Everything else stays the same, can still pre-identify and select a non minority HC, as long as you put on the minstrel show and have minority coaches dress up and do make believe interviews. If the goal is to have more minority coaches, then incentivize the outcome. Teams that don't hire minority coaches get fined and money goes to teams with minority coaches. Both my method and the Rooney Rule are trying to address the same problem, unfortunately the latter option just puts some window dressing on the hiring process but results in the same outcome as before.

So you dont care what record he has, then put the record in perspective and then mention the record vs the Bills...
