NFL Brian Flores Suing NFL for Discrimination

So is he upset because NYG had already decided to hire Daboll before they interviewed him and only interviewed him because they had to? Um, welcome to the real world, happens everyday at companies across America. Companies routinely identify the candidate they want for a particular position before posting the job and only perform interviews due to a requirement. Get over it, be more desirable and you'll get hired.
Its white supremacy at its worst.

He says all the owners are white so I guess we need to force more minorities to become billionaires and force them to buy an nfl franchise. 70% of the players are black so I guess he wants less black players and more white players so it doesn’t seem like a “plantation”? That’s his word.

I'd be curious to know the actual stats behind the Rooney Rule. I'm sure most franchises have a pretty solid idea of what coach they want to hire before they even consider who they're firing. I'd be interested to know how many, if any of the minority coaches went on the actually interview so well that they've changed an GM or owners mind on their original plan A.

When you make someone open up there wallet it had a way bringing validity to it. If he settles it will show this is about him and not the cause. If he takes them to court and puts all this on record it will not just be a "end racism" moment.
I hope it does. For me I got killed for saying the same things when Kap was taking a knee

I’m not against the decision but the results rarely work out the way the emotions lead

It’s a rigged game. It doesn’t mean you “lay down” but when you’re playing from behind you have to figure out something

And this is only from me being around a lot of successful people of all walks of life. Some rigged *** systems out there and to me the NFL is one of the biggest. It’s why I don’t watch the games and support it. It’s all I can really do

I don't call what color he is. He's a good coach. That ******* Ross paying him to lose is 100% a bytch move. Firing him was just plain stupid. Yes, people very often have someone they want to hire and have to interview for appearances, but that's usually known going in, not led to believe you had a chance.

I hope Flores walks away with a big fat check.

Flores alleges:

1. During interview with Broncos for HC position, several Broncos executives (including Elway and Ellis) showed up drunk.

2. Ross offered him $100K for each loss. Got mad at him when team won.

3. Flores refused to participate in a tampering plot with Ross for Deshawn Watson. Flores claims that during a meeting with Ross on his yacht, when Flores was informed that Watson would be joining (obvious tampering), Flores left the meeting. I guess Flores just jumped overboard and swam to the shore.

4. During the Giants HC search, Bill Belichick texted Flores congratulating him on the job. Flores had not been interviewed yet. BB thought he was texting Daboll.

Par for the course for billionaires.
Those are the 4 most racist and discriminatory things I’ve ever read. Wait….

Its not a direct answer to the question, but: The lawsuit claims that 23.5% of black coaches get fired after winning a season (over .500) compared to 6.9% regarding white coaches.

Sample sizes do matter tho.

FWIW, Bill actually texted whom he wanted to text. He read the information that he got, wrong.

Roger Goodell, all the way back in 2009: "We have no evidence that playing football leads to head trauma".

He repeated these statements in 2017 after a clinical study demonstrated that 110 out of 111 players get CTE, whilst saying players are getting healthier.

The data was out there for forever, the change came after the lawsuit.
That clinical study was flawed, they only ask players who had mental problems to come forward, it was not a statistical sampling.

To be fair, his lawsuit isn't only about racism and discrimination. It's also about workplace malpractice. Social media is just working the discrimination and racism angle because of today being the first day of Black History Month. And the BB text messages to Flores certainly falls under the category of discrimination.
