NFL Brian Flores Suing NFL for Discrimination

Phucking dolphins what a joke of an organization. Ross should be forced out of the league and dolphins get new ownership and a new GM

Exactly and don’t talk about money, he made a mint with Miami and then got a huge buyout.
I liked the guy, but this is just dumb and counterproductive to what he’s trying to do.
Plus he’s a snitch.
I know the cool thing on social media to do is bluster on about injustices in the world

And it sounds cool to support it and repost give the little likes and reshares

But you either figure out how to win someone else’s game or create your own. This is as useful as the “end racism” **** on the helmets

People won’t like it but it’s true

If they already have decided on that candidate and only interview someone to satisfy the rule, that is a violation against the rule.

The rule was made to allow equal opportunities for minority coaches. There is no equal opportunity if someone has no chance at a job because someone else already will get it.
The rule is stupid, owners are, typically, entitled a-holes, sure forcing them to interview a guy because he’s black is going to work out beautifully.

He is black and latino and he was actually hired as a head coach before the age of 40... what am I missing?

Seems like a move for someone who wasnt hired...

Well you can, there was a billion dollar lawsuit that forced the NFL to introduce player safety rules.
There was an overwhelming amount of scientific data that they couldn’t ignore

But anyway I’m not gonna debate this

It would be pointless

Close thread.
Flores alleges:

1. During interview with Broncos for HC position, several Broncos executives (including Elway and Ellis) showed up drunk.

2. Ross offered him $100K for each loss. Got mad at him when team won.

3. Flores refused to participate in a tampering plot with Ross for Deshawn Watson. Flores claims that during a meeting with Ross on his yacht, when Flores was informed that Watson would be joining (obvious tampering), Flores left the meeting. I guess Flores just jumped overboard and swam to the shore.

4. During the Giants HC search, Bill Belichick texted Flores congratulating him on the job. Flores had not been interviewed yet. BB thought he was texting Daboll.

Par for the course for billionaires.

Which one of those amounts to discrimination?

Roger Goodell, all the way back in 2009: "We have no evidence that playing football leads to head trauma".

He repeated these statements in 2017 after a clinical study demonstrated that 110 out of 111 players get CTE, whilst saying players are getting healthier.

The data was out there for forever, the change came after the lawsuit.

So is he upset because NYG had already decided to hire Daboll before they interviewed him and only interviewed him because they had to? Um, welcome to the real world, happens everyday at companies across America. Companies routinely identify the candidate they want for a particular position before posting the job and only perform interviews due to a requirement. Get over it, be more desirable and you'll get hired.

Steve Ross (aka Alfred E. Neuman)is going to let Harbaugh walk(again) to Minnesota and instead hire guy who looks like he belongs behind the counter at The Geek Squad. I can’t even believe the story that McDaniel didn’t even call plays at SF Kyle Shanahan did. It’s Joe Philbin 2.0 all over again!

Ross‘ conflict of interest and loyalty to Michigan has undermined this organization for years. It’s time for The NFL to step and force him to sell the team.

All due respect but if you think billionaire racists are gonna be bullied into changing their ways then more power to you

The truth is they cant probably prove the Broncos and Dolphins parts to be true. Unless things were, again, written on text messages and reviewable.

This is the same case for everyone else who interviews for that job then regardless. I don’t know the order of everyone’s interviews but if you have your guy you have your guy. What do you do say we want Brian Ada I’ll and we will take the fine for not interviewing Flores?
