This team is looking more and more like an Al Golden team

An offense that trips over itself, but has its moments

But the D is ABSOLUTELY atrocious. Bend but don't break zone garbage.

We struggled to get a W against another backup QB

Agreed. The irony is people were defending the defense because our avg points allowed up until this point.....
But the signs have been there
 
There is something seriously wrong with the defensive scheme.

The linebacking core is consistently misdiagnosing plays and is out of position.

The Ends continue to crash to the quarterback and not setting the Edge. They are constantly fooled by misdirection plays.

The middle of the field is constantly open on short crossing pass plays and delay drag routes over the middle.

It is incomprehensible to give up this many yards and points and yards to mediocre quarterback play and inferior talent.

It was almost unwatchable tonight.

Thank god for D'Erick King! An absolute Stud.

The offence just put up 600 yards and 44 points. It seems to have A LOT of moments.
 
F U OP. We know Baker is a douche. Just like Patke, Baker, and Dumph. Diaz will make the changes or won’t last. He’s smarter than Folden. That much I know.

He is the Walmart hire on staff. That said, you really want us to fire him mid season? Even if we had lost it would be a bad move. Who are you going to bring in and how much are you going to pay? You can’t cut a big check. You think someone’s coming here after the last guy was fired with a 5-2 record? We also have a decent recruiting hall defensively this year. There’s another problem

Yeah, we should

Manny could take over. Just last season he had to take a bigger role halfway through the season. You don't let this kind of mediocrity continue

Relax. The defense wasn’t the big issue last season or the year before when CMR was the HC. If he doesn’t get rid of a couple guys this offseason, unless they make huge improvements recruiting and coaching wise, then it must be done. If Diaz fails, he will be out. Simple as that.

The defense was an issue in some games last year. Recruiting by some of these assistants has not been up to par.

We shouldn't be fighting to win games against backup QBs...NCST, Pitt
