Edit: also when I think of Cleveland I think of Odell Landry Baker Mayfield......not no cane guys those are the guys and the DE.

When we had savages when I thought of the Redskins I thought of Portis Moss and Taylor. I'm not no super homer like most I say what needs to be said. Never will be a homer period

Simply from a talent evaluator aspect in the film room being a former NFL scout for starters. He also might be connected to more football people and open doors Manny would not normally have entry to. Like I said it can't hurt things anymore than it is now. Just his presence alone gives the program a little gravitas. I would imagine players would want his feedback on what it takes to be in the NFL. These are just a few things that come to mind.

I like anything that potentially leads to that end result but they really shouldn't need anything more tangible at this point than a simple Google search of our football record under his tenure.

Then why in the name of **** is Blake getting another year ? He was never qualified for the job in the first place much less has he done anything to keep it this long .

i call bull****. If there were really people on the BOT who cared he’d be long fired by now . Excuse making 101

It is literally amazing how some ideas catch on around here, people get on board, and act like it'll be the best or worst thing ever.

What would his role be?

What makes him the guy for that or any position?

What are his qualifications for that position?

He's a great guy, former player, and great ambassador. I don't see a place where he comes in and is worth all this board chatter. Only long time fans know who he is and his collegiate experience in any kind of administrative role is what?

I don't doubt AH the person, but you guys are always talking experience, well he has none as college is much different than the NFL

I am told, some on the BOT only care about revenues and graduation rates, areas where Blake has done well. There are not enough votes to fire him today. Making the funding available for a Football GM was a plan to get the votes needed IF next year goes bad.........
