BREAKING - Alonzo Highsmith fired by the Browns

Can it hurt to have his knowledge and experience with talent evaluating and NFL connections? I mean even if powerless to hire and fire staff he brings some credibility and insight to the program, no?
As what though? A guy who sits around and propounds theories but has no power to actually do anything?

I'm not getting this! I join the club and start hating everything UM football hoping the program augers into a mountain and burns to the ground. I want all of the current UM coaches, administrators fired and all future coaches, administrators fired (I also hate all former coaches/administrators). Additionally, I hate the family members of coaches and administrators. And yet, I am still attacked.
Sorry, friend. Welcome to the dark side!

No wonder they have so many Miami guys lately.
That's probably why he got fired too many jags....he should be scouting sec and elite football universities players. It's not the uniform that makes the player it's the player that makes the uniform.

That's one of those problems I have with bad managers. They never want to hire anyone who could be a threat. I see it differently. If I hire a subordinate who excels, they make me look good and force me to be better.

Agreed. Just don't ever work for the government, you'll be on suicide watch.

You just think of the dumbest things to say huh. Long as it’s negative about Miami, you don’t care I see. They have like 4 or 5 Miami player of which Highsmith had no role in drafting or singing. None of which besides Thomas and Redwine really played
