Braxton Berrios (interesting stat)

Mckenzie who had less than 200 receiving yards coming into this season?

I get your point though.. at least he's black. Dumbass

LOL at using a stat that discredits mckenzies best receiving year. McKenzie had more catches, this year, as berrios has had his whole career. He also has 17 touchdowns to berrios 4.

Can't believe this even a debate. I'm sure some of you wouldn't be sticking up for berrios if you heard he was thinking about transferring.

Is he? Or were you just making a point?

I have no idea if he will transfer but I heard he was looking at asu and smu for weeks.

Despite what people think of him and he hasn't produced much, I'd really like him around next year with we have coming back/in.

We need him to come back if we don't close on Jeff Thomas/Smith. We are thin

Cause you know he's a thug?

Man you're done with that post. Now you've gone full ******.

I was being facetious. No I don't think he's a thug. I was just pointing out your flawed reasoning for recruiting one over the other. The notion that race has anything to do with it it's just asinine.

Even if Berrios was in McKenzie's stratosphere

Lol who else besides some UGa homers see McKenzie in this light as a fb player?? He's a good player but relax he's not all that.... McKenzie is a better special teams returner but Berrios is a tougher, more physical all around fb player that is just as dangerous in space with the ball in his hands.

Big picture: he's a super student athlete, who will represent the U, perhaps not in the NFL, but with his business acumen.

On the field, he's been ok. He makes some good plays -- anyone remember the 2015 Sun Bowl? this year: some big catches, 2 TDs, good special teams play. The injuries have been a setback and worth consideration.

Hopefully, he continues to improve on the field.

By the way, he had 44 catches for 633 yards and 7 TD's this season, *******. That's better than Berrios' whole career.

He also has 5 career punt return TD's and 4 career rushing TD's.

Wait people are really trying to say berries is on par or better than mckenzie? :puzzled:

Travels to Carolina to sign a 5'8" white kid when he's got Isaiah McKenzie in his backyard.

He wants to play in the slot full-time, lets put it that way

McKenzie would have less than 1/4th of the receiving stats he had this year if he was at UM primarily bc he would've been the 4th option at best here. Secondly bc Kaaya would've missed him just as many times as he missed Berrios... The point is who cares McKenzie is at UGa and probably would've ended up there anyway even if we offered bc we sucked the year he came out and he wanted to play with Sony

I like Berrios but I would have preferred McKenzie as well. Berrios has been a better return guy than he gets credit for around here. He also completely wasted a season on Fat Al's diet program. I think he finishes with a solid year to end his career here.

The whole point of this thread, which got derailed like every ******* thread on here because y'all are retards, is that Berrios finished the year 8th in the nation in punt returns.

Funny thing is we're sitting around here debating Berrios VS McKenzie. That is about #56 on the Al Golden **** up recruiting totem pole. Comparing these two players......sure McKenzie should have been the take but it's not like it's ANY WHERE near the top of the golden ***** up list. Plus.....wasn't McKenzie committed to Notre Dame? He probably wasn't coming here anyway......like numerous other playmakers during his tenure.

We need him to come back because he's going to be a 4th year senior and those guys, regardless of how good they might be, will be true freshman.

And now it's about another Greentree AA not living up to the hype, possibly transferring too.

I don't think he's ever been a Greentree AA. I'm just not upset with someone who finished 8th in the nation in punt return yardage avg.

Coach Macho goes from coach to dumbass troll so effortlessly. How was McKenzie going to do any better catching inaccurate over thrown passes at his direction??... Bc he's black?

It's cause I like fvckin' with you over emotional clowns.

Lol at a black dude saying this. Don't you know anytime anyone ever says black or thug its cuz they love fvckin with your emotions? Weak ask shiat right there.

My reasoning isn't about race, my reasoning is that McKenzie was clearly the more explosive player.

Actually, McKenzie wanted to come here. That's per his high school coach. We screwed it up.

I kinda derailed the thread with my McKenzie comment so I apologize. I was bored and quite honestly I get extremely annoyed when I think about the multiple recruiting failures by that staff. I tend to beat that dead horse too much.

At the end of the day I guess I (we) should be grateful that he didn't recruit dynamic athletes. They might've made too many plays on their own and saved his job.
