People forget.

1. Lashlee was the OC here with breshard
2. Breshard refused to play RB
3. Lashlee had him at WR and Jaylan starting at RB in YR 1 at SMU
4. In a last ditch effort to get on the field, Breshard finally came to grips he needed to play RB.

Just makes me laugh when people bring up players from other teams like B. Smith or the RB from Louisville.

We have a great stable of RBs. Be happy with what we have.

That was only me guessing because otherwise I dont know why Lyle would be getting snaps over him. I have heard of him doing a few knucklehead things but nothing to the level of "he has a character problem" so I really am at a loss. I agree Fletch and Martinez are very very good but just looking at next year I see him splitting reps with Lyle and if Lyle is already starting to pull away I dont see how Allen stays. For the record I want him to.

What is he a redshirt sophmore? It does not benefit college RBs to play 5 years, he has to put out tape somewhere.

It was reported that it’s specifically pass pro why Allen isn’t playing as much as the other guys

Now whether that’s the whole story or what idk but that’s what we were told

But we have a good player like Lyle who could be great for us down the road and showed flashes early.
We could be in a lot worse position at RB and I just laugh when people bring up other players from other teams.
There's other positions to complain about.

lol candidly I think he may have had more receptions his one year at SMU as RB than any season here at WR.

Returning punts aint easy. Also, it takes an ego death for a lot of these dudes to accept they ain’t what they thought they were and say “Yes, I’ll gladly play a different position”
