JACQUIZZ RODGERS was 180 coming out of high school. We need his speed at the running back position. It will be bs to put him in an already crowded cornerback position.

Jacquizz Rodgers was a little stouter in his lower-body.

If we don't sign another tailback like Cook or Sony, then Powell will play RB. But the best bet for his long-term success is at cornerback IMO.

To add to the list of small runningbacks coming out of highschool

1. Noel Devine 175
2. Shane Vereen 170
3. Jeff Demps 165
4. Jemery Avery 169

And the list goes on

If you're going to look at just players weights instead of comparing their body structure, then you're a **** fool.

And yeah, I'm lookin at you Bryden.

Looks like a pretty stout lower body in post 22, D.

Uhhhhh yea. All im saying weight room and muscle milk does wonders to the body. I understand if Powell was just a one sport athelete. But he is a track guy, I'm pretty sure his lower body isn't as small as everybody thinks.

Matter fact im just assuming about the track part. Do anyone know if Powell runs track or not? Because if he is short and runs track, i'm pretty sure his lower body isn't as small as everybody thinks.

If he just focused on DB he might be the best in south Florida. I've always thought he'd be a corner at Miami

Another side note, a couple of weeks ago deerfield matched up with St. Thomas and Powell locked down 6'5 devante peete. He's one **** of an athlete all over the field.

Hahaha, this is great. SPROLES doesn't weigh much either, but he's like 5'5", so he is built like a bowling ball. Just putting a weight down is stupid as sin.

1. Noel Devine 5'8 175
2. Shane Vereen 5'9 170
3. Jeff Demps 165 5'8
4. Jemery Avery 5'9 169

Brandon Powell is 5'9 170

is that better?

A corner class of Powell and bethel is good pull, not the biggest guys but they're playmakers.

Chris Johnson was 175 coming out of high school as a wide receiver in 2004. Eastern Carolina stole him. Highest paid running back in the NFL a few years ago.

Great comparison

I wouldnt mind if UM put Powell at DB but I do not believe in putting someone with good vision, balance, and speed on defense if we do not have too. Especially when we're lacking speed at the running back position.

Forget it. I just looked at the pictures again and saw the block M on the pic on the right. I thought the guy on the right was Powell.

Kid is pure electricity with the ball in his hands. He's the type of guy u line up all over the place. As long as you find ways to get him the ball in space, he'll thrive. Let him do work in the slot, give him some carries out of the backfield and mix in a timely reverse here and there
