Brandon Powell Final Decision?

may be competing for starter carries in the spring because duke and yearby are out.... hence why we really need Cook.. would be our starter in spring ball if he came here

he'd like a word with you..

I truly believe Gus will make a big jump next year and become the perfect compliment to Duke. Sleep on him if you want, but he will be number two on the depth chart next year to start the season. This man will be bigger, stronger, and faster after a year in the program.

We are thin at RB. Especially backs with size. We have Gus and that's it and he runs too high to be a legit short yardage guy. That is the reason why Cook and Powell have nothing to do with each other. We saw what happened when we kept running Duke between the tackles on short yardage plays.

The most impressive thing about Edwards is that he's a natural RB. I assume he was just a big kid, running over and around the competition. He's got excellent vision. I'll bet he gets 15 carries next Saturday.

How about we appreciate this stud RB solidifying his commitment instead of solely focusing on what it means in Dalvin Cook's recruitment?

LAWLS at we passed on cook. We would never pass on cook, he always has a spot in this class.

Great to see Powell stuck with us.

I personally think their recruitments are individual of each other and us getting Powell and nothing to do with us not getting Cook. This guy is just someone who wanted to explore options but ultimately decided that he wanted to go Miami, that's all I see it as.

Whats with all the we " passed on Cook" ****

He was a freshman, that can be fixed.

EVERYONE CALM THE **** DOWN. Not every decision made in this class from here on out will be based on Dalvin Cook. Powell is a legitimate stud in his own right, and will make plays, regardless of what position he ends up at. If you don't believe that, watch his highlight tape.

you are an idiot if you think powell has anything to do with cook. 2 different backs. and powell is a different back than edwards. don't see powell being used like cook or edwards at all.

No cook- offense
Cook- Defense
Either way: KR/PR
Cook or no cook we need Powell's speed, athleticism and playmaking ability

Not to mention he's a smart kid with over a 4.0 GPA and a great work ethic

No, we have to focus on who is not coming. Otherwise, how can we find reasons to hate the staff? Common mane, you are not a vocal porster like the others here or what?
