Brad Kayaa

I can't believe how many of you are content to "wait" for YEARS of suffering through horrendous play to see if it will pan out. Bench this scrub immediately.

It is very possible that Kaaya shouldn't have been on the field after JUST getting out of high school. But after calling him a scrub after his first time on a college field, it is possible you're an idiot.

Perhaps I was a little harsh, but I don't see how he wasn't taken out of the game.

With the way our oline played , and with the horrendus playcalling that was being made , i highly doubt that even the best qbs in college football could have succeeded yesterday

Get these next two games under kaayas belt. re-evaluate the situation depending on he's performanes in those games then make the choice him or Williams week 4. Golden is gonna try & do whatever it takes to win this season bcuz he knows he's *** is on the line. I feel like this team WILL get better as the season goes on. This 4-5 win stuff is crap. once the o-line gets it together & kaaya gets settled in and starts making plays down the field duke will then be able to get going. Everybody needs to relax & try to forget about this one. Iknow its been 4 years but you know as well as I do we've waited all year to watch this team & we can't give up quite yet. 2-1 headed into nebaska hopefully maybe we can pick up a W there & get it going. ikno ikno wishful thinking i just wanna win so god **** bad. Im trying my best not to give up total hope.

I don't know guys...he kinds of reminds of Chris Leaks w/ out the athleticism. He floats a lot of his passes and often times the receiver has to wait for the ball. He needs to learn to throw to spots. You don't have to have the greatest arm, just smarter throws. I think we did him a disservice by putting him in a no-win position w/ our OL. You gotta max protect him at all cost. That was unexceptable game planning for the guy.

Oh yeah, he is just a freshman, so he is not responsible for underthrowing/missing his receivers with a noodle arm (good for THREE turnovers). Ellite 11? Yeah, so was Preston Dewey.

Maybe an old 'Cane fan like me needs to bring back a little history concerning Freshman in big games, on the road, against a large and hostile crowd:

Take a deep breath. While it's clear that Coley can't adjust on the fly. (Or ever maybe.) Kaaya was the only the best of two QBs who were eligible to start. Lay off the kid.

He was a freshman. The moment was obviously too big. However, that does not mean crap in the big picture. I think he will be ok. He floated some and that was because of nerves, he was like a pitcher who it trying too hard to throw strikes. He was aiming, and not throwing. However, in that last series he threw a few darts. I think he will gain a LOT of confidence in the next two games. Not sure what that will mean in the long run, as I think this staff will give it back to RW as soon as he is cleared.....

Kaaya was tight, but so was Dorsey early in his career. Problem is we played right into their hands. They were charging down hill on every snap, and we ran right into the cavalry.

Kaaya showed some competence and touch downfield, but we put him in predictable situations all night because we went in scared. And we couldn't block anyone all night. He was set up to fail. Switch offensive staffs, and we win that game

Yup. They knew what we were going to do and they took it away from us. We really didn't even pretend to make them think about anything else. Crying ******* shame.

We have no idea how good this guys is - OL cant get us more than 2 yards on first down and we cant protect on 3rd down - this is not a recipe for success

At this point after a loss I'm usually calming down, it isn't happening this time. James Coley ruined my ******* season in 60 minutes of football. I was calling out our plays before we even ran them. I have had enough of the predictability on both sides of the ball.

In response, I was expecting a detailed disertation on why Brad Kaaya has almost unlimited potential to be a top D1 QB, based on a thoughtful analysis of his positive athletic attributes.

Nope, I get a feeble-minded, keyboard tough guy.

You coming back to comment when (hopefully) the new UM coach has this guy riding the pine until he transfers to Alcorn St?

You dumbass, that game was late in the season and Kelly was playing for Howard Schenllenberger, not Al Golden. If you think you've gleaned anything from Kaaya's performance last night, you're a moron.

Yep, I'm a moron for having serious doubts about a QB RECRUITED by JAMES COLEY, who will be COACHED by JAMES COLEY...

Golden said he didn't want to see "That Look" in Louisville; too bad he, Coley and Kaaya were Exhibit A.

I'm sure Brad Kaaya is a nice young man and most importantly (for the real world), a good student. He is, however, not the answer at QB.

No, you're a moron because you've declared a true freshman a bust after one game when he was put into ridiculously bad situations by the staff during his first start, which happened to be on the road. But I'm sure there's other reasons you are a moron, too.
