I put zero blame on the kid...he was thrown into a world of ****.
I'm not sure there's a QB in America that could have led us to victory with that offensive gameplan today. If you're going to play a freshman and call plays like he's a freshman, why start him?
Coley is an abomination. I know Onfrio is also an abomination of similar proportions...but I've been saying it since last year that Coley was stealing money. He's Pat Nix with recruiting skills. No business calling plays at a big time program.
I remember us saying the same thing when Patrick Nix coached us out of a chance to beat UiF. This was worse. Kaaya showed he is capable of going through his progressions and spreading the field. He threw a pick? Big ******* deal. He showed more than Marve ever did. That's your ******* guy Coley. So ******* useful that receiving core was
There was a moment tonight where I came close to breaking my TV.
2nd and long in their red zone shortly after the change in possession off the turnover we forced....UL proceeds to load NINE men in the box due to the fact we went double tight end with a tight lineup from the wideout on the open side of the field. Kaaya barks out false signals for a few seconds and then does the "check with me" thing with Coley.
So Coley, after seeing all this, sends in his check which ends up being a check to run the ball INTO that aforementioned NINE man front.
Yeah...I lost my ****. That was incompetence illustrated in it's purest form.
