I know the mood is negative right now, but I want to give Brad some props tonight. I like what I saw from him. He looked nervous of course, but that's to be expected. Kayaa took several tough shots because he was tough enough to stand there and take the hit in order to make the throw. I expect good things from him throughout the year!

THe play calling screwed Brad. And that wont change regardless of how poised he gets throughout the season. Or if Williams takes over.

Anyone that blames him for what went on tonight is a ******. The kid went out there behind a terrible Oline, **** play calls and a general coaching staff that is beyond mediocre. He was set up to fail. I have faith that he might be a good (hard to tell though) qb in the future. But for that to happen we need a whole new coaching staff.

LOL.

I've never seen a worse performance from a Canes QB in my entire life. I would take Jacory Harris over this kid at this point.

I feel bad for the kid. He should have been afforded the luxury of a redshirt year.

Incompetent staff is the problem. 4 years in and your best option is a true frosh at the most important position on the team?

You have failed as a staff.

Even being a mope I don't blame Kaaya. Coley is calling these ******* screens and bubbles. I got my fill of those from Nix. Those plays are supposed to be the surprise plays, not 90% of them.

Prolly my first ****ed off post since i been here but tonight made me just ****** LOSE IT! Our OL was ****** atrocious, especially that ride side, dear gawd. We still look soft, confused and lost as ****. Th common ****** denominator are the coaches. Our OL look castrated out there. Big *** Gus still runnin like he 175 and not 230. Horrible playcalling from Coley. Lemme not even get going about the defensive scheme. Its pretty bad if the D outplayed the O when supposedly that is our strength? Same old ****. Unless there is a complete 360 done by this coaching staff the rest of the season which is not happening entering year 4 get these up north grease balls away from my beloved football program. JUST ****!

I feel bad for Brad. He was let down by the coaching staff tonight because in the staff's fourth year, they were incapable of putting him in a good position to succeed even though we have players like Dorsett, Coley, and Duke. I hope we can get a real coach in here before these numbskulls ruin his college career.

He played like a True Frosh in his first game on the road.

No way in **** you should have to start a True Freshmen QB in your 4th year running the program.

that is bad QB recruiting.

Kid got coached in a 5 yard bubble with a **** offensive line, despite showing he was capable of opening up the field.

******* idiots in charge. ******* idiots.

I put zero blame on the kid...he was thrown into a world of ****.

I'm not sure there's a QB in America that could have led us to victory with that offensive gameplan today. If you're going to play a freshman and call plays like he's a freshman, why start him?

Coley is an abomination. I know Onfrio is also an abomination of similar proportions...but I've been saying it since last year that Coley was stealing money. He's Pat Nix with recruiting skills. No business calling plays at a big time program.

Losing Williams hurt, bad. I hope Brad survives the year with this revolving OL.

It's sad that we would be depending in Williams because he is not that great

Kaaya will be fine the staff needs to get the heads out of their ***
Sick of Al

I remember us saying the same thing when Patrick Nix coached us out of a chance to beat UiF. This was worse. Kaaya showed he is capable of going through his progressions and spreading the field. He threw a pick? Big ******* deal. He showed more than Marve ever did. That's your ******* guy Coley. So ******* useful that receiving core was

Awful gameplan
Awful play calling
No identity
Terrible OLine play

The coaches make everything difficult on our players. Coaches are supposed to put players in positions to succeed, neither our OC or DC are good at it.

End of story. End of ******* story.
