Brad Kaaya staying for Senior season

Lake Lewis and Joaquin Gonzalez have set a press conference for 10am sharp today to address these rumors. The Feast is monitoring private jet activity in the interim.

Anybody that gives credence to this report, and any site/organization that uses this as a reporting reference, is/are imbecile(s).

One jagoff writing "sources close to the program" is not what's considered reliable. Especially someone who's never either been heard of, nor is known to be close to the program.

The issue isn't some unethical attention seeker putting out made-up information for clickbait.

The issue is the low-intelligence and lack of critical thinking skills exhibited by anyone that gives credence to this.

Entire websites are built on "sources close to the program".......

Won't matter if Richt wets the bed again calling plays in big games like he did during that 4 game stretch this year.

Jury is very much out on Richt the playcaller. I'd feel a **** of a lot better with a quality dedicated OC.

Good news, now we can redshirt Perry and get Allison some snaps and let the 2 of them battle for the job in 2018.

Hopefully Kaaya works on his pocket movement/awareness all summer. Hopefully works with a track coach to get a little bit of speed.

Good, he should come back.

Richt asked him to show some of the skills the next level will demand of him-- pocket presence, expanding his reads, checking plays at the LOS, etc.-- and he showed he needs more work in pretty much all of them.

If he stays, I think he will do himself a huge favor with a good offseason.

Dumbest post in a while. Richt's plahy were fine . Our o line and kaaya's inaccuracy ( along with some bad luck) cost us those games. It happens but in 3 years we will look back at that losing streak as a growing moment.

Would be great for both parties. Kaaya needs more polishing and we need him as the other guys on the roster aren't ready

I would easily believe it if our great Peter Ariz reported it.

Journalism has been dead since Trump won U.S. Presidential Election two weeks ago.

He'd be stupid to come back.

It's a shallow QB draft class and the league is dying for quality signal callers.

He needs time to develop in a real offense, might as well make it a paid apprenticeship

We've been hearing about shallow QB drafts every season for the past few years, yet these kids always end up getting picked really high.

No he would be dumb to leave. He can be a top 5 pick if he works hard. He has digressed this year under a new , but better, offensive caller in richt but I think with one more year he would be the best college qb prospect . And what is great is it helps us tremendously as well. With Kaaya we are preseason top 5 without him we are still preaseason top 20 but have no chance at the play offs. Next year is our best chance over the next 3 years IMO to make the playoffs and it happens to work out well that Kaaya isn't ready. If he was he should leave but he is no where near ready. Just becuase you will be a top 2 round pick doesn't mean you should leave. Long term it is a mistake.

There's a lot of fantasy here, so its tough to respond. I'll give it a shot anyway -

^Kaaya's limitations (accuracy and athleticism) will not improve with another year in college. He may be able to improve his accuracy marginally, but not enough to take him from a mid-2day guy and into the first day. He'll never be a Top-5 pick.

^Not sure what the pre-season ranking has to do, or is calculated into Kaaya's draft stock, but that has nothing to do with him staying or leaving school. Those are self-serving reasons for the kid to remain in school.

The basic economics of it do not make it a mistake in the long-term. In actuality, it is MORE FINANCIALLY PRUDENT to start the clock on your second contract as early as possible.

He's basically learning/playing for free now. He can remove the risk of injury (playing) and ADD getting paid by simply declaring for the draft.

That's true. Another reason for him to go. Position scarcity in the league pushes up the price of the unknown.

Hope he spends "all" the off season working on his mobility, footwork and bettering his slow movement with his legs (aka running or speed for normal athletes).
