Just for the slurpers... There's absolutely nothing to be proud about!
Stop trying to spin everything in a positive way you sound ignorant!

Here's the talent composite between Miami vs. all projected opponents.

Wake up and stop falling for the B.S! There's no way effort should be an excuse!
Stop trying to out-talent our opponent and out coach them for once!

Those stars just show potential when signed. Without good development and coaching they are worthless. A 3 star can pass that 5 star when the coaching and developement is superior to what the 5 star us getting. Bottom line is our coaching has wasted good potential for years

Your point has absolute credence but there's also something to be said about our corches for years obviously not properly utilizing talent too. We wouldn't have continuously put so many guys in the NFL over this time period that are seemingly better pros than they were college players if this wasn't part of the problem too.

As I stated our coaching has wasted good good potential for years

So you think Miami has good, productive players at WR and OL? What team have you been watching all year?

:monkey-serious:
We don't have a bad receiver group. OL is a whole different story. Those rankings are the class as a whole, not specific positions.

Yes, we need better talent on the O line, but we also need better recruiting, development, and playcalling. The offensive line isn't responsible for that.

I almost forgot to add some snark.

So you think Miami has a good enough coaching staff to make the CFP?

I agree. Miami doesn't have a bad receiver group; they have an awful receiver group. Payton is the only legit NFL talent on the roster and he's being redshirted inexplicably.

Miami has a coaching staff that's in over their heads. Regardless there isn't a scheme that will make the OL look good or make the receivers look good, except Thomas who is at least athletic so he can provide sporadic production in a spread.

Stop trying to out-talent our opponent and out coach them for once!

We used to be able to do both.

Thomas and Osborn are both going to be on NFL rosters this time next year. How you relate that into an "awful receiver group" is beyond me.

Believe it or not. A LOT of Miami's current players were OVER HYPED coming out of high school. Or perhaps they was just OVERRATED and what not. Because it's inconceivable a team with above-average HS talent can finish 7-6 last season and possibly 6-7 this season. Even 7-6 is a joke for the supposed talent on this team.
