BOB to the Hokies - rumor

That’s more or less where I think it’s at. They have to feel comfortable enough to put Diaz out there and not give him the vote of confidence. As fans this sucks but the administration has to do a certain level of *** kissing with Mario.
If Diaz returns after the way it's been handled - you have to give him an extension if you don't want to lose 2 recruiting classes. 2022 is already a wash and 2023 will be worse because of negative recruiting.

Not to mention he's gonna have to find a capable OC and a DC and probably a ST coordinator too if he's not afraid of firing his last buddy on staff - all while being on the hot seat and having to convince good coordinators to jump in a sinking ship with a sitting duck HC.

You don't get Mario this off-season he's gone anyway because he'll be next in line for a 10 year $90M payday.

Again proving nobody knows ****. Lincoln to LSU. Franklin to USC. Fisher to LSU. On and on it goes. Who suspected Kelly to LSU?

All this smoke and now it looks like they're landing the Penn State defensive coordinator.

So tired of "sources", "insiders" and everyone spreading total nonsense in effort to get more retweets and followers.

Total clown show throughout the college football "media" world.

99% of coaches are better than CMD...... very good hire by Va.tech if true...... did a nice job at PSU after JoPa mess
and has been an excellent OC for Bama
I can tell you that last part is absolutely not true. Their big boosters are about to chase him out of town and the Iron Bowl did not help. Their OL has been pretty average by their standards and he hasn’t adapted his play calling at all.

you just called out OBB, Flo, Terminator X, and CIS all at the same time lol.

the big guys usually have it right for a reason (they may not have it first but they usually have it right)

this whole thing is a huge failure if you don't get Mario. they better have the press release already drafted and ready to post on Saturday bc there is no way you can bring Manny back. the way these so called boosters and insiders acted by spreading rumors and ****, you'd think its a done deal.

If not Mario it has to be Kiffin or Stoops. Brining back Diaz will be the legitimate end of any hope of Miami football's return

they want to run the DC out of town...Pete Golding is what i hear.....

Last time you looked, that QB and his supporting cast are all 5 stars and play within an overall lineup where nearly half are future NFL draft picks. Context matters. BoB has underperformed with the talent at his disposal. It’s not surprising since that is exactly how he has trended as a coach for the last half decade. Is he Manny Diaz? No, probably not. He may even be a bump up from Fuente. But if those two inform your standard, you’re in bad shape as a program.
Va. Tech hired DC from PSU,Brent Pry today......yes context does matter as perhaps the 4-5* star on Bamas lines are not as good as past years where they were littered with first round picks on O line and D line. perhaps they have reached their ceilings
perhaps Meche,Williams Herren are not as good as D.Smith, J,Jeudy,H.Ruggs, Jaylen Waddle, Amari Cooper & Calvin Ridley
as well....

What do current players comparing to past players have to do with anything? This is BoB's first year there. The comparison that matters is Bama's players compared to their competition. They're still more talented and he still underperformed. Don't take my word for it. Ask around on your Bama travels to people who watch their every snap. They're adamant about wanting him gone.
