I wasn't true to myself, I tried to be somebody I wasnt. I lied to myself about what I saw last year. I said RIcht was the problem, before that I said Golden was the problem, before that I said Shannon was the problem, before that I said Coker was the problem. You know what I realized last night..I am the problem.. I for believing in something that has passed us by a long time ago. I lied to myself, I truly know what the problem is.

Guys we will never be back, hiring average coach after average coach. Crooting pretty good players instead of the great ones. The University of Miami is not able to succeed in the platform of college football anymore. We are the UNLV of college football. The game of college football has passed us by. We are Dunder Mifflin, Kmart,Sears, we cant compete in this market.

I tried to listen to the veteran posters claim how could we not win 10 games in this weak ACC of course we could win 10. I knew all along when that is your reason that you could win 10 games you know you've got a problem. I bet under 8.5 games on the season for a reason. Lost $150 on last nights game. I wasnt true to my inner bleak core...this will never happen again. Two weeks to prepare for North Carolina and we came out flat and we were thoroughly out coached in all phases of the game. We were more talented then them at every position except QB which i would call even. Crooting is done son forget your top 10 crooting class.

I am prepared to just be happy beating FSU where i spent 5 glorious years. Talking **** to my old college roomates one time a year is all I have to look forward to to this team. Im sure there will be thread after thread claimin how we are a few field goals away from being 2-0 blah,blah,blah. We won 10 games with Rosier blah blah. We will finish 8-5. Getting our **** pushed in again in a meaningless bowl games. Im still gonna watch but we are done as a national football program. Its over

I find myself accepting that our AD and BOT’s are extremely incompetent and in over its head running this program. We have an AD who didn’t even interview a single other candidate after CMR retired. On top of our incompetence, college football has changed and it’s difficult for us to compete in the bag era when we hire lazy and cheap.

Deep down, I do think Miami will always have a chance to be elite because we live in a market filled with HS talent. Perhaps, we get lucky again with a coach that can capitalize on that talent and turn us into a monster again.......some day.

It will take hiring an elite head coach for us to ever be back. We need a complete overhaul from top to bottom.

Our best chance is getting lucky on our next head coach hire and end up with a top tier coach. I say lucky because I have zero faith in our administration.

There was a time - about a decade ago - where we still were recent enough in the memory and had enough cachet where a solid coach would have been able to right the ship.

We are past that point and every year that goes by our brand becomes more tarnished. Our brand is the only reason we still can recruit top 25 classes consistently. Once that is gone, it’s over. We need a sense of urgency in protecting our brand.

May be true and excellent job with the graphics btw but.......you are still a Semenhole and suck worse.
 
I'm not as down as everyone else TBH. Special teams, key drops, and giving up big plays on D (besides OL, which was better against UNC) were the difference maker our last 2 games.

We need to host kicker tryouts or something. It's that bad. We missed a 26 yarder against UNC and a 21 yarder vs UF. Manny didn't trust him from about 30 yards out on that 4&3 drive.

We dropped the 27th point. Against Florida up 20-17 Jeff Thomas dropped a TD that would have given up 27 points. Late night Mallory dropped a 2 point conversion that would have given us 27 points.

Against Florida and UNC we've been given up huge plays defense. Busted coverage way to often.And some dudes just getting flat out burned.

Also, we need to throw away these under the center playbook.. it pretty much been a waste of a down.

This school has a lot of clowns making the macro decisions for the program. Really think about the buffoonery these decision makers went through to get their coaches after Butch Davis.

Hire Butch Davis' OC...Butch Davis' DC...used car salesman from Temple...fired coach from Georgia...fired coach from Georgia's DC coming off of a 7-6 season where Miami had to pay money to buy him out of a contract from TEMPLE.

Ancillary...just think about the NAMES involved with all of the coaching searches over the years. Its not like we've even "missed out" on anyone decent. We're going to be on coaching search #4 where the names being mentioned are Mario Cristobal, Butch Davis, and some other nonsense.

We're done. Neg me. I don't even care. This forum is filled with clowns that actually think this program is any good. Fvck y'all. Y'all apart of the problem.

But we didn’t win. And I think that’s the point.

We can’t beat UNC while coming off of a loss.

In the old days when we lost, it was unloaded in our next opponent. Felt bad for whoever caught us coming off of a loss. That player led culture is gone.

Serious question here. I'm with you on the prospect of never being back, but in this day and age of CFB, you mean to tell me that we can't win the Coastal consistency year in and year out??? We have "enough" talent based on recruiting rankings...coaching (Corching) is the big issue.
