Blame talent not coaching

Gus Edwards and Olivier Vernon have outperformed their Miami days. Linder too I assume.
How’s Reyshawn Jenkins, Jaquan and Redwine doing?

What about Calais Campbell and Sean Spence?

Kids haven’t been developed here at many positions for years.

They didn’t utilize him correctly just like they don’t utilize JT4 correctly or make the most of our TE’s. It’s going to take credible developers of talent at the coaching positions to fix this mess and instill some kind of confidence in recruits to come here.
 
Every year Miami is in the top 5 schools with players on NFL rosters. First day picks or FA they’re still on a team. Yet we can’t win the coastal more than one time. Some of this can be put on the players sure. But the talent is here we just don’t develop that talent or utilize it or come out prepared on game day. That is all on coaching.

So now its "as an upperclassmen". LMFAO!!! He is playing a lot better in the NFL than what people would expect if they just looked at what he did at Miami. Which proves your moronic(even by your standards) statement false.

So Gus doesn't look better in the NFL than he did at Miami? LMFAO, yup he was sitting behind all those studs that are now killing it in the NFL.

As of now scouts have 1 player currently who could go as high as the 4th round DeeJay. The two linebackers are late day 3 picks. As far as the Juniors on this team. Garvin and Bandy are boarderline day 3 to undrafted right now. Jeff Thomas undrafted.

Why can’t Miami fans be patient. Are they really stuck in the early 2000’s. Did Richt give you false hope cause of a unicorn year filled with mass turnovers forced and lucky bounces. The majority of the talent we have are pups. They need time to get in a real strength and conditioning program. 6 months for the new guy wasn’t going to make a huge difference although some of the transformation are noticeable, give him another year.

Be a part of the solution and not the problem. Quit bi***ing and support the team and don’t hang on every single word someone makes. It’s petty. This was a rebuilding year no matter what way you slice it from the day we started Zion at left tackle. I’m excited for the future and next years team.

There is no excuse next year, plain and simple. Go Canes.

but ...I do believe that we
have the talent ... if coaches
would run a different offensive scheme...we have the players
for spread offensive...Dallas,
Thomas, Pope,Jordan,Mallory and Harley...Need to play to our strengths not our weakness (offensive) line.

Oliver Vernon puts up awesome numbers here, only plays six games as a junior because of suspension and gets drafted third round.

Gus Edwards can’t see the field early cause he’s stuck he’s mired behind Duke Johnson, then transfers late to the worst P5 team in college football and gains a whopping 700 yards.

One was a beast from day one the other has been ok everywhere else he’s been and yet both were underachievers here to fit your bizarre criteria.

As usual, wrong. Vernon put up more tackles and sacks in his last 6 games in the NFL. Than he did in those 6 games. Anyone that isn't trying to backpedal to defend a moronic point would agree Vernon over performed in the NFL, based on his college performance.


LMFAO!! What is this Duke Johnson nonsense now? He was only here with Duke for his fresh and Soph years and those 2 years were the years he got his most carries.

So he can't start at Miami, transfers to Rutgers and gets 700 yards, then he became the first Ravens rookie RB to have back to back 100 rushing yard games since 2000.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly some “fans” are willing to throw the 18-21 year volunteers under the bus to protect the multimillionaire adults who used their daddy’s political allies to land a job they didnt earn.

We have one TE who will.

We're simply not that talented on offense. On defense, we've missed dramatically on big time players in the secondary. Our LBs are extremely limited. The only real talent is on the DL and even they haven't been making any impact in the league except for maybe Chad Thomas and all he does is get playing time every now and then.

Coaching has been poor, but CIS loooooveeesss to act like we've got world beaters waiting to be unleashed. Simply not true.

another imbecile who doesnt understand what coaches jobs are.

we have recruited endless elite players, who end up being busts. that is on the coaching. we probably have the worst ratio of four and five star recruits to first round draft picks of any major school.

But they’re not NFL Hall of Famers, so it doesn’t count. We can’t beat teams like 1-5 GT that is transitioning from 10 years of triple option with a slew of average NFL players.
