Again, I've been to a decent number of college towns, I'm sure a lot of dudes here have me beat by miles in that category but I have been around, and I've never in my life been somewhere they tell you "Here's the school/stadium, but you gotta go 45 mins away to have a good time".

Obviously Miami is like that, but Miami is not a college town.

Same page man same page. When I moved down here everyone kept raving to me about Greenville

Don’t get me wrong it’s cool and all but I’m like you guys don’t get out much do you?

I grew up in northwest PA and traveled and moved a lot and I do prefer living in the south but it’s a funny way of life

I got some stories but that’s for off the board and whiskey

Seriously though, idk what I expected but the first time I went to that campus I got stuck behind a tractor on some two lane back road for what felt like an hour. Immediately tossed that scholarship in the trash. Made Tuscaloosa feel like a big city.

Exactly. Even when you go for visits if you're actually from a city only thing you think of is backwoods or klan. It's beyond country out there with NOTHING near by. All they try to sell you on is BBQ & that **** was ***.

All these crooked *** places that always provided bags,cars,houses and jobs now crispy cause everyone can offer something. If they wanna do like auburn and sceast and bama you better catch up. They still giving that under the table happy ending to go along with that nil. That's the places that are REALLY hard to compete with if it's just money that's the deciding factor. Everyone wants to say just up the bag. Offer whatever to get it done. Sounds good but then a kid starts to be coached by his corner on how much money and resources he's leaving on the table etc. snap of the fingers **** changes up

I would expect Hartline to go to Clemson if he leaves OSU for that reason

**** yeah. I ain't even gonna lie. When I was in the league we had a particular staff member who used to bring some of us whiskey guys some of his private collection. Good God Almighty. **** tasted amazing but you'd always wake up feeling ROUGH.

I guess. But you gonna overpay for that fat chick ***** too? Than when you wake up and take a **** but your **** burns who you gonna blame? You guys get upset when we reach than don't realize sometimes you're doing what you got to. I like both instincts at the position. But I wouldn't overpay for either. I'd understand the situation and take my chances in the portal before I did that. If you're gonna overpay than you get whoever's agent on the pipe that you actually like and you do whatever you got to for him.

Ive been to both. Grad student at UM

South Miami Coral Gables have that ****hole BEAT by a WILD margin.

You made a lot of assumptions there, genius.

I used to live in Greenville too. I've been to many games at Clemson. I've spent time at numerous Clemson fan tailgates on their campus surrounded by more Clemson fans than Miami fans, and I'm speaking from experience, not "ZERO validity". Go try your dismissive "I'm a part-time Greenville resident and all the people in South Carolina are angels" routine on someone else.

As for the rest of your ****-slobbing, I didn't say a word about Dabo. He's a good coach, and one of my long-time friends went to undergrad with him at Alabama. I don't root for the man, but I can acknowledge that he has done an excellent job at Clemson.

See what happens when you make a bunch of stupid assumptions just because you want to clutch your pearls over acknowledging that many people in South Carolina are biased and/or racist? You find out that other people have other bases of knowledge besides your own, and have observed a few things that you either didn't see or didn't want to see.

Greenville has one of the most beautiful downtown areas of a non-major city in the entire country. I loved walking around there and hitting the restaurants downtown, as well as the rooftop bars and the minor league baseball stadium. A lot of fun. But also a bit of a drive from the Clemson campus.

Also voted the #1 small airport in the country almost every year

I’ll pay 2x the price to get a flight from there instead of Charlotte or Atlanta that’s for sure
