2026 Blake Stewart 4* Safety from ATL (Woodward Academy) Flips to UGA From Clemson

Which one is it again...Newspring Church. Arent they the ones who for years were helping families...most of which played football for Clemson

If we get any recruits, it’s because we paid significantly more than the other schools. But if they sign the same kid, it’s because “the kid loves the school, and it’s always been a dream of his to attend (wherever the fucc) this school”. Wash, rinse, and repeat. Gtfoh! Like they ain’t paying dese same kids.

I've been to Clemson 3 times for games, so I'm not an expert and I'm sure @JHallCanes can set it straight, but all 3 times I was told by everyone I spoke to that you go to Greenville to party. So I was like, OK, 5 min Uber ride? Where's Greenville? **** is FORTY-FIVE minutes away. It's like ******* 30 miles LMAO.

Yes, there are bars and restaurants in Clemson. But they're few and far between, and they're trash. Apparently a lot of the time kids go to Greenville to do their thing. I was like, the only thing in this ****** *** city is the school, and y'all are so remote you don't even have **** for students to do? Bizarre place.

The Clemson fans are really deluded. They think that once they get a "recruiting lead", they don't have to fight hard any longer, and the price never goes up. They are a bunch of soft, entitled country bumpkins who can't help themselves from saying something unintentionally (or even intentionally) stereotypical and/or racist.

Listen to them yap, they are all "losing interest in college football" and/or "not watching as much anymore" because players can get paid, change teams, and have a bit of power in the power-dynamic.

Meanwhile, they will watch the NFL games all Sunday long, without any self-awareness.

I don't know where you get your information but I do believe with conviction some of comments are off the wall with ZERO validity. I have a second home in the Greenville SC area (21 years) and many are Clemson fans. I have lived in South Florida for 48 years. Also, many of the Clemson fans party here in Greenville. I am a DIE HARD Cane fan but your comments about Clemson fans are off. I hope most Canes fans here don't believe your delusional comments. Over the years I have been to about 15 games at Clemson and seen our beloved Canes play twice. I think you just hate Clemson so much that you'll say anything to get our fan base riled up. I suppose Dabo is a communist too and hates America. LOL

Yeah the campus is pretty nice. It’s one of those things where people from there say “well Greenville is only 20 minutes away”

You know you’re in a **** town when you gotta hype up things that are close to you. Greenville is actually pretty legit but you step off the path it’s cows and tractors and meth labs for sure

I would expect Hartline to go to Clemson if he leaves OSU for that reason

I've been there as a parent on college tours. My son applied and was accepted so we took the trip. Flew from NY to Charlotte and drove 2.5 hours. It's either fly to Charlotte or Atlanta - Clemson is roughly equi-distant from both. From NY, there is roughly 1 flight per day to Greenville.

Before we went, one of his HS football coaches told him it was "in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do". He had played for Ga Tech and been to Clemson a few times to play. Needless to say my son went into the trip already deciding he wouldn't like it!

The coach wasn't wrong. Main street is a strip with a few small restaurants, coffee shops, movie theatre and the usual student apparel shops. I don't even remember seeing a bar. The best part of the trip was getting to walk out on the football field. As we were driving by the stadium on the way to the tour we noticed the gate to the field appeared to be open. Being the intrepid New Yorkers that we are, we just walked right onto the field. It was pretty cool. I wouldn't want to be sitting in the top rows of their stadium though. Those seats are WAY WAY up and you hang over the field. some workers were polishing up the famous rock they all touch as they run down that hill.

Needless to say , that was the highlight of the trip...

And I realize whenever I say this to people from big cities they don’t believe me until they visit

But the traffic is ******* horrifying. Mostly because people in the south are just slower and chill

And there’s a TON of Nissans on the road if you catch my drift

You're gonna give a huge bag to a safety that's undersized? Both him and green don't have proto typical safety size. They're both listed taller than they actually are and one is listed at 6ft, 5'11 while the other says 5'11, 5'10. Size isn't the end all with DBS but it's a big factor

Took well over an hour to get from Greenville to town the last time I was there. It was gameday, but still....

I was just thinking....you guys to this to have a beer or a steak? Is everyone OK here?

Again, I've been to a decent number of college towns, I'm sure a lot of dudes here have me beat by miles in that category but I have been around, and I've never in my life been somewhere they tell you "Here's the school/stadium, but you gotta go 45 mins away to have a good time".

Obviously Miami is like that, but Miami is not a college town.

I don't have a dog in his hunt as the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle but I will say that Dabo is one of the more insufferable hypocrites in CFB.

There are 39 blue-chip Safeties in this class.

31 of them are committed to other schools. 2 of the 8 uncommitted kids are #'s 1 and 5 overall and I'd be hard-pressed to see us getting either of them at this point.

At some point, you gotta take the fat chick home......
