Blake James

The university of Miami HATES the football program. They only want to see it burn while giving us fans the finger.

the worst coach in the history of sports coupled with the worst AD in the history of college athletics...what a ****show

Golden should be canned after Dabo rapes him and his team this weekend. Unfortunately we'll keep him to further embarrass us a few more times this season (especially when Mike London kicks his *** again in a couple weeks). The only GOOD THING about keeping this clown until the end of this miserable season is the fact that if they fired him now, Coley would take over and possibly win a game or two before the end of this chitshow in December. If that happens, Blake, the BOT and our football-clueless admins might just agree to make him HC. Not so sure how much worse that would be than the probability that Mario Cristobal will be our next HC anyway, but it is something to consider.

I just don't look forward to the next hire by this gang of incompetent azzholes. They've failed three times. God only knows what horror they'll visit on this dying program. We know it won't be anyone with a proven winning record. They're not paying for THAT.

Blake is a two bit paper pusher who's claim to fame is AD at that powerhouse University of Maine.

Another Donna Shalala special, Flake is waaaaaaay over his head.

If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem...and Fake's part of the problem.

He needs to go out the door right behind Golden.

Agreed. Don't they say hope is the most dangerous thing to people in prison (aside from Laz ratting you out)? Well that little period in between Alfredo's canning and them announcing the next loser they hire might be the happiest that we all are. For as much as Goldie sucks, and boy does he ever, one would be surprised at how many potential hires could keep the decade plus ****show going.

Flake's Logic- if he caught a dude banging his "wife" he'd let him finish before he did anything. Sorry for that visual.

Someone should ask Flake if from here on out that season ticket holders can withhold payment until after the season- when they can evaluate the state of program along his side.

Of course , I mean he would have to "evaulate the guys performance"

I want Al gone too but a mid season firing while in contention for the coastal is not happening. If we fall short of the acc championship game then Golden will be gone shortly thereafter.

Let's revisit this is in two weeks. Two losses puts us at 1-3 and pretty much out of it with Pitt and Duke ahead of us with probably no conference losses.

The sad reality is James is not really saying winning the Coastal every year is the acceptable goal. By keeping Golden what he's really saying is winning the Coast once every 5 years is the acceptable goal.

Since he committed to Golden for this season, cant really expect him to say anything other than what he's saying now, until the Coastal is completely out of reach.

You can expect him not to announce that if Folden wins the Coastal he will return in 2016. He won't put a win total on Folden, but he's told the world if that fat piece of guano wins the Coastal he'll be retained. He would have been much better served to say Folden will be evaluated at the end of the season. And just leave it at that. Then, fire him at the end of the season.

The more they talk about how the banners mean nothing let's you know everything you need to.

So, what the ticket schlocker is saying is just root for the team and hope for the best regardless of their on-field performance, and that he is not going to do anything to try to improve the product. Basically, you should be a fan and give us your money regardless of performance. Please point out another business that can put a terrible product out there and still prosper.

Can you imagine Fain or Miller taking similar stances with their employees? I can't. Fain and Miller would run similarly performing employees out of town on a rail. But they don't care about football. They think that they are running an elite academic institution. LOL. No matter how UM tries to build it's reputation, it will never be an elite academic institution. Oddly enough, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Northwestern and Duke are all invested in having winning athletic (including football) programs.

As there is no pressure on Folden or the ticket schlocker, the only conclusion I can draw is that UM just doesn't care about putting a competitive product on the field. If UM doesn't care about the product, then I will not care about the product.

What else is there to judge. In the next 6 games, guys will still be confused on where to lineup, not ready at the snap, offense will run a no huddle and run out of play clock, return game will suck, best players will get rotated out for lesser players, etc, etc, etc. It is hasnt changed in 5 freaking years, and sure as **** isnt going to change now.

It's too bad you aren't all AD's somewhere as you've all got the answers and tell it straight unlike Blake here. What a dummy, saying what most if not all AD's in the country would at this time as his hands have been tied by those above him.

Exactly. If you don't know that F A G sucks at his job at this point, then you have no business being an AD. If you need more data to determine what kind of job he is doing or is capable of doing, then you are not competent.

I use to feel this way but now I dont know anymore. I all but expect Blake to say after we are out of it for the coastal, "Listen, its a long season. We still have alot to play for. We can get 6 wins and make a bowl and and win it which is something we havent done in 10+ years. Thats an accomplishment in itself."

He will just keep redrawing the line for Golden. Shodell said that Blake really likes Golden. He is looking for any excuse to keep him. And he will find one unless this team just really goes to **** and doesnt even make a bowl game.

Let's say the team wins 6 or 7 games, goes to a bowl game and craps the sheets in the bowl game, and UM retains Folden, will next season be even more toxic than this season, or will everyone just look for a new team and new hobby?

Maybe I'm giving James too much credit here, but I'm thinking the line about winning the coastal, the coastal being the goal, and evaluating Al based off this is a goal is a way for Blake to easily justify firing Golden. I'm sure he looks at our schedule knowing full well that Al isn't winning the Coastal.
