Blake James

So, what the ticket schlocker is saying is just root for the team and hope for the best regardless of their on-field performance, and that he is not going to do anything to try to improve the product. Basically, you should be a fan and give us your money regardless of performance. Please point out another business that can put a terrible product out there and still prosper.

Can you imagine Fain or Miller taking similar stances with their employees? I can't. Fain and Miller would run similarly performing employees out of town on a rail. But they don't care about football. They think that they are running an elite academic institution. LOL. No matter how UM tries to build it's reputation, it will never be an elite academic institution. Oddly enough, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Northwestern and Duke are all invested in having winning athletic (including football) programs.

As there is no pressure on Folden or the ticket schlocker, the only conclusion I can draw is that UM just doesn't care about putting a competitive product on the field. If UM doesn't care about the product, then I will not care about the product.

What I don't get is why do they think it is mutually exclusive?

Then again look at what they have created/done since 2004.

What else is there to judge. In the next 6 games, guys will still be confused on where to lineup, not ready at the snap, offense will run a no huddle and run out of play clock, return game will suck, best players will get rotated out for lesser players, etc, etc, etc. It is hasnt changed in 5 freaking years, and sure as **** isnt going to change now.

All the zombies at UM and in the chinstrap nation fanbase act like we don't have 5 years of data on Folden. They act like this is his first season as a HC.

They claim we need to let it play out like we haven't already seen it play out for the previous 4 miserable seasons. Didn't we hear the same thing last year? Let the season play out. Then, after it played out, and we lost 7 games we get another year of "let the season play out".

The 4 previous miserable seasons don't count, and neither will this one. As long as they have ACC and Adidas cash rolling in, they are good.

After UL in 2014, we heard the following: "We are going to be a better team at the end of this year than we were at the start of this year. We’re going to be a better team at the end of this year than we were last year and we’re going to continue to get better each year."

In all honesty James needs to be fired first. I want that clown nowhere near the hiring of our new coach.

It isn't enough to just fire him if we're going to install another retarded puppet in his place.

I understand that as well. But do you actually want Flake picking the next coach?

He won't be picking that either if he is retained. Our BOTs love to micro manage, they will be all over that decision/hiring.

The only thing Fake will be picking is the nits out of his wife's back hair.

Correct.

I want Al gone too but a mid season firing while in contention for the coastal is not happening. If we fall short of the acc championship game then Golden will be gone shortly thereafter.

Let's revisit this is in two weeks. Two losses puts us at 1-3 and pretty much out of it with Pitt and Duke ahead of us with probably no conference losses.

I use to feel this way but now I dont know anymore. I all but expect Blake to say after we are out of it for the coastal, "Listen, its a long season. We still have alot to play for. We can get 6 wins and make a bowl and and win it which is something we havent done in 10+ years. Thats an accomplishment in itself."

He will just keep redrawing the line for Golden. Shodell said that Blake really likes Golden. He is looking for any excuse to keep him. And he will find one unless this team just really goes to **** and doesnt even make a bowl game.

Let's say the team wins 6 or 7 games, goes to a bowl game and craps the sheets in the bowl game, and UM retains Folden, will next season be even more toxic than this season, or will everyone just look for a new team and new hobby?

I think we'll just see apathy like we see for the Dolphins. More empty seats and people just not caring. Now, I do not understand what argument they can make where even the most blind *** fan will say "ok, let's give him one more year."

It's too bad you aren't all AD's somewhere as you've all got the answers and tell it straight unlike Blake here. What a dummy, saying what most if not all AD's in the country would at this time as his hands have been tied by those above him.

It isnt about being an AD. It is about having a clue as to what your eyes have told you for 5 years, and not listen to some cliche generic mumbo jumbo. We all know Blake hands are somewhat tied right now, but dont agree to be interviewed if you are going to say nothing in 6 paragraphs. He has one last chance this off season, and if nothing is done, he can go too.

Those *****es JUST got convinced that Al needs to go LMAOOOOOO. But hey, they've only been fans of the U since 2010 so, they've never even seen a dominant Miami team during their pathetic existence.

How stupid is this guy?

He just guaranteed more banners including one for him.

it is MORE than clear to me that Miami will keep Golden if we win the Coastal.

This is why the idiots who cheer for us to win at this point are part of the problem. We could go 7-5, win the Coastal, and Golden will be retained. We HAVE to step it up somehow. Winning the coastal would be a DISASTER for this program.

I'm surprised we're glossing over Flake speaking about those of us (in his words) that want the program to fail. So is he admitting to not "ignoring the noise" and is on the Interwebs in places like this checking our fan sentiment? The banners alone never asked for failure to achieve their goal of firing Golden. The emails he receives are almost guaranteed to not be that nuanced as well and also probably just call for the firing and not what's needed to achieve that end. The clowns in Hecht always love to act like it's only an isolated few demanding irrational (in their eyes) measures. If that's the case then Lil Flake and his minions shouldn't be concerned enough to view the temperature on sites like this.
