I hate losing and I know Manny hates losing—they are going to do what they need to do to put themslves in position to win every game with the undersanding that we are not going to win every game

this quote says it all, what a loser. So it “tolerable” because it’s impossible to win every game? What a loser. Winning schools and winners in general don’t have this mentality, this isn’t even a beta mentality, it’s a zeta mentality. I would literally prefer hedleys pet kangaroo as our AD.

Our past players and coaches would slap him for saying that, this guy is a LOSER, and his quotes show that.

It’s one thing to hate losing, but it’s another thing for winning to be something you NEED, not an option, but an essential need, and as long as they aren’t demanding it, these products will continue to be put on the field.

“We are seven games in,” James said. “Manny is doing the things he needs to do to build a program for long term success. Some of it we will not see until after recruiting signing days. I will say I feel 100 percent as confident in the decision today as I did back when we made it in December. It is frustrating to lose games—I hate losing and I know Manny hates losing—they are going to do what they need to do to put themselves in position to win every game with the understanding that we are not going to win every game. That is part of football. The teams that we line up against are doing everything they can to win games as well. It is going to be a battle week in and week out. Manny has the full support of myself and our full institution.

“I think the reality is that we are 3-4 and we need to focus on the remaining five games and do everything we can to win each and every one of those,” James said. “It is a disappointing journey to this point. You can look at each one of our losses and I think you can realistically say that if this play went the way that it normally would, then we would end up in a different spot. While you could say that we could be 7-0 or 5-2 or whatever it is, the reality is that we are 3-4 and that is what we are moving forward from. We have five games ahead of us starting with Pittsburgh.”

Oh I'm sure Diaz has the full support and confidence of the institution. Of that I have no doubt.

there is an important word that Diaz and his little girlfriend Blake James never say and obviously have no idea what it means .... CHAMPIONSHIP ! those two spooge monkeys are totally worthless !

The fact that he had to come out with a statement 7 games in to the first year supporting the coach means that the entire athletic department is feeling the heat.

James has to know that this hire will ultimately decide how he is viewed in Coral Gables forever. Unfortunately, that means his only course of action is to continue to support his hand picked head coach. I'm convinced that the only way we get any change is if James is fired first, which will take at least 2 years.

I agree. It’s def early to be commenting on things
