It was just so nice to see us making so many big plays. I was preaching to anyone sitting around me at the stadium during the first few drives of the game, that we can't win if we don't start making plays. I was frankly shocked to see how we didn't fold after our rough start, this team is definitely different than the last few years.

Brashard return was massive, but they weren’t stopping the offense anyway. It just stole the momentum back in an instant.

Davis forced fumble sealed it.

But that Horton TD kept us in it and showed they were there to play. Without that I believe we’re down 7-10 at halftime. It gave life to everyone. Completely changed the game.

I think it was George's td before half. If we don't score then A&M has the mo and got the ball to start the second half.
Agree completely.

Any time you can go into halftime after scoring a td, just lifts the moral of the team. It gives you confidence and something to build on.

Having said that, I was going nuts after Smith took it to the house, that felt good.

Agreed... my family has mostly checked out of Canes football except for my oldest son (15). I had to spend Saturday night and all day Sunday convincing them that it was fun to watch miami football again. For the first time since 2017 really.

Although we had some big plays and the offense was fun with King/TVD/Lashlee, it always felt like smoke and mirrors because I knew we couldn't run the ball when we needed to.

That one was a kick in the nuts for A&M. That was amazing and then the block by Restrepo on the kicker.

For the record, I didn't put Kam's INT on the list as we weren't able to capitalize on it fully...and because it pretty much fell into his lap with the receiver slipping. If we could have gotten 7 off that TO, though, it definitely would have been a knockout blow, IMO, because it was the possession immediately after the KO return. It would have been KO return TD, INT, TD and would have broken their spirit.

So many great choices but I went with Hortons TD

Down 17-7 against a team that probably didn’t think we could threaten them deep. I think that play set up a lot of things we did after that

But a case could be made for everything on the list for sure

There was what…like 50 seconds or so when we got the ball? Last year we would have only had time to run one play and stare at the sideline for 37 seconds

Absolutely was MASSIVE momentum shift

I think that’s the common theme here is us snatching momentum back from them over and over again. Horton, George, Smith, Jaden Davis, Kam….you could feel the shift and we stepped up over and over again

Can’t go wrong with any of them, but I say Jaden/Kam force fumble and recovery.
TAMU offense was moving effectively all half, only slowed by a false start on 4th&1 and a guy slipping giving us an INT.
They just had 7 play 75 yd TD, bringing within 1 score, and then held us to a 4 and out.
Jaden/Kam with TO to end 3rd quarter, giving us ball on TAMU 31. 5 plays later touchdown, to start 4th quarter.
Ginormous change of momentum.
