SOOO many big plays this game (maybe more than all of last season). I'm curious what everyone thinks was the biggest play for us. Chime in with thoughts and/or even put them in your own order.
It's hard to argue with any of these, honestly. But yeah, TAMU just had a 12 play, 6 minute drive to only get 3 for us to then turn around and get 7 in about 10 seconds. Brutal. The KO return was a back breaker. It was back and forth until then. Completely changes the game
Agreed. In my opinion that's when we won the game. That deflated them and was the blow that put them on the ropes. The KO return was a back breaker. It was back and forth until then. Completely changes the game
That's how I voted, myself. After going down 10 for a second time, it was the first signal to us that this team wasn't going to lay down and that we could move the ball on them with ease.Horton td
Changed the tide of the game.Horton td
Agree completely.I think it was George's td before half. If we don't score then A&M has the mo and got the ball to start the second half.
Agreed... my family has mostly checked out of Canes football except for my oldest son (15). I had to spend Saturday night and all day Sunday convincing them that it was fun to watch miami football again. For the first time since 2017 really. It was just so nice to see us making so many big plays. I was preaching to anyone sitting around me at the stadium during the first few drives of the game, that we can't win if we don't start making plays. I was frankly shocked to see how we didn't fold after our rough start, this team is definitely different than the last few years.
That one was a kick in the nuts for A&M. That was amazing and then the block by Restrepo on the kicker.Agree completely.
Any time you can go into halftime after scoring a td, just lifts the moral of the team. It gives you confidence and something to build on.
Having said that, I was going nuts after Smith took it to the house, that felt good.
And helped give a kid who played bad the week prior confidence.Changed the tide of the game.
There was what…like 50 seconds or so when we got the ball? Last year we would have only had time to run one play and stare at the sideline for 37 secondsI think it was George's td before half. If we don't score then A&M has the mo and got the ball to start the second half.
