A big time recruit out of the IMG Academy already decommited from Ohio State.

I wouldnt be surprised if this is the dagger that gets the whole Power 5 to play.

Makes no sense. Ohio St will find a way to play even if the BIG doesn’t, as a whole.

Uh, OSU voted not to...Nebraska and Iowa have a case because they voted to play. Either way, you’re crazy to think Individual schools will be able to play if they vote as a conference not to. Unless they want to pay a huge exit fee to an able to play a few meaningless games this year...oh and find some teams that have an opening and are able to play them

The conferences and individual schools can insist on playing until daddy NCAA finally says no. It's a good virtue signal to let players and recruits know you actually want to play.

You think they just have a handshake agreement on being part of the conference? I’m pretty certain there are bylaws and clauses in their contracts,etc related to voting on decisions like this, otherwise why would they have a vote if each school could just do what they wanted regardless of the outcome? Plus who can they schedule when all the other conferences said they are playing a conference-only schedule other than maybe one game?

1. No;
2. Yes, but the schools can exert pressure and influence narrative by making a different position known;
3. Call people and try until the NCAA calls it off. That's an attempt to have a plan in place.
