Lane is gone unless he wants to compete i doubt he does he wants to play early which is understandable

Its obvious Lane is scared of the comp at WR at UM.



And what bonus would playing on the same team as Quincy do for him?

I know they are boys, but that kid openly disses Lane's supposed "dream school" on social media like a butthurt little girl b/c Miami didn't offer him.

So why would Lane want to tie his (possible all-star) future to someone as weak minded as Quincy?



Don't get me wrong, I would love to land Lane and Dixon and call it a day at WR, but if Lane doesn't want to come in and EARN serious reps as a freshman(which I know he can do) just like every other player on our team, then I would gladly take a WR class of Langham,(hopefully) Dixon, and (hopefully) Berrios.




Before Quincy made an a$$ out of himself on twitter and dissing The U to anyone who would listen to him, I would have liked to see him in this class, but only as a Safety.
Kid is def not a CB, coaches will lie to him to get him to commit #1 b/c they know they will just switch him to Safety after the first practice or two just like so many in the past, and #2 b/c these coaches want to get their foot into University school by signing some of their highly regarded players mainly so they can have a shot at the real prize at University school 2015 RB Jordan Scarlett, yet Quincy and his pops are just too dumb to see that his future is at Safety and not CB.

You're delusional and pay way too much attention to tweets. Quincy purposely trolls hurricane fans like you to get them mad. Why would lane be scared of the WR depth? Our wrs are overrated by our fans, no one else sees them like we do. Yes the talent is their to be a top ten WR core in the nation, but they haven't proved it on the field yet. Quincy is a tweener, better fit at S but that's doesnt mean he can't play corner. He is a good corner prospect and put up better agility numbers than I expected. We wanted Marshall Faulk at CB, he wanted to play RB. Manziel and RG3 were recruited as ATH. Look what happened there. Then you have a case like Anthony Barr, said he would never play defense, UCLA turned him into a LB and now he's a top 15 pick. All the situations are different, if he believes he's a corner and winky believes he a qb let them be. Schools have given them athletically scholarships at those respective positions so let then make their decision. UF isn't really a package deal school like FSU, and getting Quincy wouldn't guarantee them scarlet at all. Quincy doesn't get 40 ****in offers because the coaches want Jordan Scarlett, that makes no sense. You as well as other people take the dream school term way too serious. These kids sometimes have more than one dream school growing up. Kaaya even said he loved USC, Texas, & Miami growing up. All "dream schools" if you say. Now look how solid he is to miami. Anquan Bolden wanted to be a QB, Bobby Bowden lied to him, told him he would play QB, then switched him to WR and now look at his career.

You think he would be where he is today if he would have stayed at QB?

IMO FSU will do the same with Treon Harris and UF will switch Quincy to Safety if not after the first few practices, def after a full off season of him putting on weight in a college program.

Everyone knows Quincy will outgrow the CB position.

He does not have Patrick Peterson type speed, athleticism, hips, ball skills, etc...

It is extremely rare for a CB to be that size, and Quincy is nowhere near the athlete that Peterson was no matter how much he or his father think he is.

Quincy is def not done growing and should embrace becoming a stud Safety(could be an All-American Safety or a JAG at CB), but he won't.

And I never said that getting Quincy would guarantee any team Scarlett, all I said is that getting 4 star CB/S Quincy Wilson(who is University school's highest rated recruit this cycle) would get your foot in the door to land other prospects from that school down the line.

Last reply since we are getting off topic.

1. Quincy ran a 4.6 40 and had a 4.16 shuttle at the opening. Lammons shuttle 4.23. Jalen Tabor 4.16. Arrion Springs 4.13. Like I said he's better fitted at safety but he has the agility to play corner.
2.No **** he doesn't have ****** Patrick Peterson speed or agility. He's one of the most athletic ****** corners in the NFL. Only a handful of corners can come close to his numbers. Saying he doesn't have Petersons skills is a horrible example. Barely anyone has the type of skills he does. He's a taller, physical corner. There's guys like Richard Sherman that have had success being a larger corner. Sherman ran a 4.56 and had a 4.23 shuttle. Quincy isn't Richard Sherman but he could end up staying at corner.
3. Quincy never got a miami offer of any kind contray to belief. Staff didnt want him at any position.
4. Like my examples with Manziel, I gave a counter offer with Anthony barr. For every Anquan Boldin there is a Marshall Faulk. For every RG3 there is a Denard Robinson. We could go on and on.
5. When did I ever say I would root for lane if he goes to UF? You're acting as since I don't bash a 16 year old kid that's going there I'm rooting for him. & back to what I said from the beginning, Quincy purposely says stuff to get hurricane fans mad. You have a bunch of hurricanes asking him questions/bashing him for the past 6 months on twitter of course he's going to get annoyed.
6. Quincy will definitely get a couple years at corner and if he struggles then they will switch him.
7. "Getting your foot in the door" narrative for Jordan Scarlett makes little sense. Quincy has more offers than Scarlett. Kids are going to make their own decisions, it might help build a relationship but it won't deeply affect where he ends up.
