Best safety duo in country

Whereas your moping is a 365 day a year thing.

Let me guess the response. We lost to FIU?

We did, in fact, lose to FIU. And UF, UNC, VT, GT, Duke, and Louisiana Tech. So, yeah, forgive us for not singing along to "Everything is Awesome" with you.

Keep Caping for the Hecht cabal, though, Mighty Mouse.

Did you watch this team play last season... 4th and 17 doesn't happen if anything on your defense is up to par, much less "best in the country". The only thing laughable in this thread is most certainly NOT that our position coaches receive some criticism, and it most definitely IS even pondering the thought that we are "best in the country" at anything.
Yes..I watched a secondary breaking in 4 new starters/rotational pieces give up a few plays early on in the year..the question is going into next season based on where the secondary was trending at the end of last year..which is very promising given what we have returning..but I’ll agree “best in the country” is a stretch. Imo a group of Bubba, fierson, Hall, Smith, Harrell ( hard to keep him off the field) and carter is as talented as anyone in the ACC and rivals many in the nation

But yall wanna fire their coach

Well it's kinda wishful thinking by the OP ya know...

Or nah? We should just hand em the best safety duo right now crown? Or is it best or just top 5 like he regressed to in the first sentence of the post. Let me know so I can then congratulate Banda accordingly

Man are you a slurper.

This is so true. I hope The people who wrote Bolden off last season because he “hadn’t played in a year” or needed to add weight and despite all that balled when he played do the same with jaelan Phillips so they can look foolish. He’s going to ball this year too🤫

Hold up, Brock. People who were worried about Bolden because he hadn't played in a year were proven to have been wrong in their concerns because "he balled when he played", even though he only played in like 4 games?

Both he and Philips should be viewed with a healthy does of skepticism until they prove that they can both hold up and be productive over the course of a full season.

It's a cliche but it's true: "The most important ability in football is availability."

We always overrate our own players. There should be ZERO conversation about best in the country having to do with this team. We've got some nice players, let's hope they find a way to win some games.

Not holding that freak injury against bolden come on man lol. I mean I get It but I think People are going to be pleasantly surprised with what Phillips does this year, he’s a freak

Not caping. Looking forward to 2020, what our assets are and what we can hope and expect from them.

You can feel free to do “We lost to FIU bro” for the next 9 months is you like, that’s up to you.

So..let me get this straight..Brevin and Greg aren’t top 5 at their position in the nation..I agree overall we overrate our talent, especially from a depth standpoint. But let’s be clear, there’s no shortage of talent in that safety room. You can go by their recruiting profile or, like I’m doing and go by that plus their upward trending play at the end of the year...this secondary will be tops in the ACC and has the talent and depth to be better than that..only question on this D will be how fast can we get the LBs producing at shaq and pinks level or better, and can we find a consistent interior playmaker

I'm a Bolden fan.... But this best bla blah in the nation **** need to stop. We haven't been best in the nation at anything that's worth bragging about.

Yeah, but everyone is overlooking the one category that was proven this team was the “best ever” in CFB history at: $#!tt!n& the bed. Argue that, and you’re Manuela’s salad tosser.

Some of y’all might as well just deactivate your accounts at least until the season starts . Fckin moping and crying in every thread

it’s the off-season and absolutely nothing is going to change the fact of who we lost to

not even if you repeat it over and over again in response to everything

AMEN. Perfectly said.

So not only do we have fans claiming we have something that is the best in the country...We have another fan coming in to clown posters who mentioned firing the coach all because someone posts that we have this hypothetical best position group in America out of the blue.

"Let's worry about [ON-THE-FIELD ACCOMPLISHMENT] before any kind of [STATEMENT OF FUTURE PERFORMANCE]" is simultaneously sound fan policy and inimical to an active message board.

Wait, not even claiming that we have the best players in the country? Won't that change the outcome?

Wish I could give you a check mark and a laugh.

Agree, bruh, but let’s not gloss over with a $#!tty paint job as to how great we are, even as the Titanic is resting on the bottom of the ocean. Until proven otherwise, I’m not revising my opinion.
