played right in to their quick passing scheme by running soft in the secondary. Dude is good but not nearly as good as we made him look today.

The guy played like Brady.

In the first half, he benefited from the lack of pass rush and some luck/stupidity. Our DBs just looked like chit.

- Zaccheaus (first TD) catches the ball short of the first down with Young/McCloud in a position to make a play. Instead, Zaccheaus takes it for the TD.
- Reed (second TD) benefits from a breakdown in coverage. One of the DBs (maybe Redwine) in addition to Young totally acted like a spazz out there.
- Levrone (third TD) perfect throw. Young isn't in position to make a play. Redwine is some how coming over very late.

2 of 3 were preventable.

He's a good QB who gets some good coaching and game planning from a good OC. He also has a pretty good line. He'll play in the NFL. Maybe not starter quality, but a decent back up who can win you a game or two. Don't discount the extra motivation he had by laying in front of his family (he's from Cape Coral). Give the guy his due.

Its easy to be a good quarterback when your offensive line gets to hold onto players all day long. Look at his best plays chad thomas was being held every play, and i mean shirt ripping off held. Refs call a clean game his stats go way down.

He'x a really good, very accurate QB who had a great game. Thankfully we were able to turn up the pressure in the second half and do enough to slow him down.

Some of our fans need to realize other teams have good players too. This guy was one of the best QBs in the ACC, even before this game. Like Toledo's QB, he's legit.

The problem was that Diaz did NOT have an answer for plays in which the QB gets rid of the ball within 3 seconds... Seems like we could have gotten some more pics knowing that almost every pass play performed this way.

Dude ain’t ****. He started to fold like the rest of the qbs we played. The only one that didn’t fold was the qb from Toledo.

Rewatch Quans sack when he came through the middle. The rb got the blame from the announcers but the qb seen quan coming and started to bail before the rb had a chance to pick him up. This changed quans attack angle and allowed him to get the easy sack.

On Quans pick 6, the qb felt the pressure coming from his backside, said *** it, and just threw the ball before Norton crushed him. He must have forgot that we don’t give a ***, we still are going to hit you after you throw the ball....

All those lame duck floaters he was throwing deep only hit because or dbs were either getting beat or blowing coverage....

That was a good shot for Miami to take in the jaw like that.

Dude started 18-19, 288 yards, 4 TD and Miami just kept pressing back, never panicked. One errant pass and the guy wasn't the same the rest of the game.

Showed Miami's depth, conditioning and psychological advantage. After the pick 6 the entire Virginia offense got tight, their offensive line started to get gassed and the front 7 finally started to get pressure. Felt like we were hitting him on every single play after that.

Good quarterback, but he should not have looked like the next coming of Tom Brady. I mean for fvcks sake...the dude looked like Jesus out there. The soft zone and lack of pressure, though, in the first half, certainly didn't help our case.

Correct. Despite out success this season, we've somehow managed to make the kid from Toledo, Syracuse, Virginia & even the freshman from UNC (for a while) look like Aaron Rodgers. Maddening at times but I'll take it.

We played right into their hands. This kid did make some legit *** throws on the run though.
Some of it was definitely on us, lack of pressure etc

However you are right. That kid was dropping dimes yesterday. His accuracy was unbelievable.

He's a good quarterback who played an unbelievable game.

And we won by 16.

This... Diaz needs a response... Three seconds snaps should have been defended with a nickel coverage, dropping lbs back into coverage, MORE pick 6's... granted, we stopped the run, but it makes for a long day.

Watching it live, it seemed what they were doing was running short routes, a lot of comebacks. If it wasn't there the QB would roll out if the play wasn't already designed to move the pocket, and the WR would immediately push up the field. First TD was a comeback in which several defenders took poor angles. 2nd TD, and the 3rd quarter TD were short routes that the WR pushed up field after the QB rolled out. Not sure about the one right before the half.

With all that said, dude still had to make the throws. It looked like the dude had cheat codes for a little over a half of football.

W is a W though. On to the next one.

His picture looked liked a douche bag...then the shush to the crowd? His wife wasn’t even that hot...**** him.

You’re ****ed at the dude for the very same thing the Canes are known for. Shushing the crowd, taunting, etc. It makes the game more interesting. Stop crying. Kid played a great game. Tip your hat.

Canes don't marry 4's

Also don’t blow 14 point leads twice...those trash talking Canes werent b!tches, he was...the whole team was.

Syracuse's QB was 13-41 for 137 yards and 4 picks against Miami.

Woodside from Toledo has been a top 5 passer this season.
