You either make the 2 or you don't. You have to make one. Whether you make it on the first or second TD, you still need one.

This isn't ******* Psych 101. It's planning and having knowledge about what you need to do. If you make the 2 on the first TD, all the pressure is off of you. And if you miss it, you know exactly what you need to do.

If you wait around and try to get it on the second TD, you may not have enough time to get the ball back. F$U has all the knowledge and control, and with a running game clock, can conceivably bleed so much clock, and then punt to pin you deep, that you have no options to overcome the missed 2.
