Just asking. Does it matter how he gets in as long as its free to him?

There are additional benefits to scholarship athletes instead of coming in as a regular student who gets “free” admissions. Plus, it’s a total insult to recruit a kid you want badly and not offer a full scholarship regardless of loopholes.

Idk, Stroud, the DL coach, posted a bat signal. Leonard Taylor, a Dlineman, asks for an edit yesterday and announces a commitment day of a couple weeks away. I don’t think it’s as clear as your making it out to be. Ivins could just be using process of elimination to put in a CB if he doesn’t feel confident in LT.

Ivins said that he spoke with sources close to the Ismael situation yesterday before putting int the CB for him, and that a decision was coming soon. It is almost certainly Ismael that the bat signal is referring too. We just gotta be patient with Taylor.

Matters because if he pays out of pocket or if it's "free" then he would count as a walk on player, not a scholarship player, this giving us 26 spots instead of 25 (technically 24 for 21 recruits but you get the point)
