Soldy sounds a bit salty.....and irrational with that Kehoe nonsense.
Soldinger wasn't talking about Kehoe, he was talking about himself. And he was right.
The magic element is that old, wise sage who has been through everything with the program.
We need a 'Canes Gandalf, if you will.
Love what Kehoe did for this program in the past...hence, I said the past. He has no reason to be on this staff.
Manny has been a tremendous boost for this program with a renewed energy and profile. He has adressed the old coaches and former great players. He has done a tremendous job and owes no one anything. Canes Cartel loves on.
Would love to have Solly back. He hit it on the head with the entitlement comment regarding present-day college football.
Yeah but is he being entitled wanting to be apart of TNM? He’s too oldWould love to have Solly back. He hit it on the head with the entitlement comment regarding present-day college football.
My issue with his comments aren't that they're wrong but they rubbed me as "telling it like it is" only because there seems to be some bitterness that a guy like him or Kehoe isn't just gifted a spot on staff and a salary because they've earned sometime lifetime right to it or something.
Him trying to **** on the transfers was what pushed me into being rubbed the wrong way with his "frankness". He would've had more credibility if he just stopped at the comments about entitled mentalities. He also kinda took a shot at #TNM.

Same thing Luke was saying???I'm really not seeing the problem here. Coaches always think the guys they've worked with are the best and new HCs are making a mistake not hiring them. It's not salty, it's just human nature. When given the chance to hire, coaches usually pick somebody they've worked with before.
And the transfer thing? That sounded to me like he was talking to the transfers telling them they don't have it made just because they got a spot at Miami.
Solid isn't the word....Ask these guys...Soldinger was a very solid coach for us.
Always good to hear his (unfiltered) opinion.
Just sounds old & crotchety to me.Soldy sounds a bit salty.....and irrational
