BJ is riding the Richt train hard on this one.. I'm surprised... he's usually more critical of Richt.

He's crazy if he thinks Miami fans will stand for another season of offensive (and special teams) shenanigans like this one....I don't care what Richt did in Georgia...it shouldn't take 5 years to implement that here... It's not like the cupboard was completely dry when Richt took over... Aside from the OL, we are loaded on offense.. and the poor OL play is on him and his OL coach by and large...

Bottom line, it's year 3... Things shouldn't be THIS bad.. all signs point to us getting worse, not better. You look at the Sabans and Urban Meyers of the world and things were nowhere near this bad in year 3. Not even Golden and Shannon did this bad in year 3!!!

I love Coach as a person but he has to go or clean house on offense (which I know he's not gonna go, so he needs to pack his bags).

I actually like Jackon’s idea to bench Rosier forever, play Perry at GT, and have Perry and Jarren split reps for the VT and Pitt games. If by some miracle Miami makes a minor bowl game, split reps again. Jarren gets plenty of work and keeps his redshirt.

Starting to agree with you on the checked out part. Boat loads of talent and your 5-4 and will be lucky to win another game this year. Dude needs to go into broadcasting!

Second, the small minority of the fan base being vocal about him being fired?? Um, try **** near every fan!

Third, Richt’s “offense” was much criticized in Athens over his last few yrs. WHY DO U THINK THEY FORCED HIM TO GIVE UP PLAY CALLING?!!

Fourth, a question of talent???? No elite players outside of Thomas??? Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Perry considered the # 3 DT QB in the nation coming out? Wasn’t B Jordan considered the No. 1 TE in the nation? Wasn’t Will Mallory considered the # 9 TE in the nation? Wasn’t St Louis considered the # 10 OT in the nation? Donaldson # 6 OT? DJ Scaife # 5 OG?

U know what, I don’t feel like going down this rabbit hole; the most damning thing in this article was basically saying ain’t nothing happening to Richt even if we start poor next yr and he’s earned this right. DONT HIRE ANYONE U CANT FIRE AND STOP EXTENDING PPL WHO HAVE PROVED NOTHING!

he sounds like a lot of the ******** on here that rationalize this awful nonsense they're watching to try to comfort themselves from the obvious reality that we're going to be mediocre for another 3 years until the school can afford to fire this guy... and that's the BEST case scenario.

whats like is that he wins 10 games again and gives everyone blue balls, the admin extends him and it takes them 15 yrs just like it took UGA to realize he ain't ****.
 
Him pointing to the lack of elite talent is just utter bull****. The talent is there to not lose to Virginia, BC, and Duke. Utter bull****.

Loaded on offense when a richt took over? Yeah and he rode that talent to the ******* Orange Bowl. You know a major bowl game that Miami hasn’t been in since 2003.
 
Typical media guy who already has his sources and want's an easy job. New HC/Staff means he would have get off his butt and work to develop new sources in a new staff. The thought of woking beyond making a few calls and typing up some drivel is anathema to these old media guys.

Barry Hackson is an atrocious excuse of a journalist and a football nincompoop.

He did the same “duh well da talent isn’t good” argument for Golden while he was losing to talentless garbage schools, too. Years later all these guys are in the NFL and the dudes they were losing to work for H&R Block.
