Barry J. article summary on "behind the scenes" problems.

Now I would really love to hear the Enos side of things. Was he really that bad or did he just say F it, I can't work with these immature druggies? If he goes elsewhere and is successful then that would be telling.
Don't worry, he won't.

So when players who had no business declaring early, and I said clearly something is going on w/in the program, kids are looking leave at the first chance they get...would u numbnut slurping homers now get a f’ing clue!?!

This program is a complete mess, and we have a ship being ran by a captain w/ no nautical experience.

This article is a microcosm of how dilapidated our once proud program is.

BTW; remember back in 2018-19 when Richt & Richt put all their eggs in the MJJ basket for QB; he played us, and they said they were content not taking a QB for that cycle, and I went ballistic? Yeah; this is what happens when u don’t take a QB every cycle.

We were left w a guy who was immature, a guy who was immature and stayed high, and scrambled for a transfer who didn’t fit Enos’ offensive philosophy. JW felt no pressure and acted accordingly. This is y you scout and take a QB every cycle, and no disrespect to Peyton, but he was option D during the 2019 cycle.

This column was eye opening. We complain about the coaching a lot, but we also have a roster full of apathetic players. At some point, some leaders need to step up and raise the accountability. It’s clear the coaches can’t handle that on their own.
Didn't mean to downvote. Big fingers.
I wholeheartedly agree.

This is terrible. Someone wanted that out for a reason. Manny seems to lock stuff down when he wants to. When they want something out, it gets leaked. It makes me wonder if the player(s) who talked did so with the encouragement or knowledge of Manny and staff... Or if it came from someone who graduated and was angry....

UM has a STRICT policy in regards to player interviews. The school has to grant any reporter permission to interview a player and a member of the compliance department is present. Whenever Barry Jackson puts something out, it’s 100% fed to him by the Miami staff with an agenda. That’s why all of the “anonymous player” quotes are all BS. Manny & Blake are clearly trying to paint a narrative to protect themselves & are basically pinning everything on the players and the culture that was created by the previous coaching staff. The locker room is a disaster & it starts at the top.

Jarren and Tate can GTFO. I wanted to see more of Tate but **** it. We need a LEADER in the QB room. TVD, Matocha, or Grad Transfer. Perry can play back-up

Im not as huge a fan of the Alonzo Highsmith move as this board is but **** maybe we do need a tough *** dude to come in here and instill some discipline which i assume he would do. Manny sticking with JW through this is **** indictment on his own leadership abilities

This is another reason Highsmith is important for this program. This circus act is ridiculous. And even tho this is Manny’s fault cause he’s the leader (Manny’s done a terrible job so far) at least he’s addressing team issues.

Suitcase Pookie looks shot the fck out. Yikes.
Wut?

Maybe but that might work if Manny just got here but he's been here for 4 years and recruited many of these players. He helped set the culture,he doesn't get ay passes here.

Cocaine during a game makes you a better player. It just does. But crack, heroin, or meth, not so much. Those drugs just space you out. Weed is ok after a game to wind down. But before a game it ***** with your concentration. These kids need to be taught what drugs to use and when to use them.
Gotta bring you in as Drug Coach.

If that was their thought then they are dumber than we thought. It reflects on them ultimately. No one told MD to play Jarren after skipping practice or other guys after they missed curfew. This is his culture and his mess. Like HOFer Jimmy Johnson said, players either did what he told them to do or what he allowed them to do. Manny is allowing this **** with his inaction.

yep. And it isn't just the QBs I know that for a FACT.

I have to wonder who the player source is for this article. It seems to me the point of putting the names out there like this is to serve one purpose: humiliate and force Williams to leave the team. Why else do it?
It sets an example. If any players do this in the future, they could be called out publicly. If they think there are no public consequences and the coaches are weak, they undertake this behavior. To have the Miami Herald call your *** out...that can change behaviors.

Lmao Brad Kaaya was a great leader during his time right? Right? Smh

Richards handling anything? 🤣🤣🤣

Not to be a d*ck but neither 1 of those kids have won anything at the collegiate level. Not conf championship or natty. Doesnt make them the authority on this type if stuff what do kids at alabama or clemson say??

Miami isn’t easy to play in fellas. Even though the players don’t have money, you’d be a fool to think they don’t get preference in the SFL night life. I’ve always felt you have to either except them for their partying ways and they are studs. Or they have to be SUPER discipline to not cave in the vulture culture in Miami.
