Barry Article On The Qbs

According to the feminine community, it was all the richt's fault, and the feminine community also said coach richt should've left perry in the UVA game cause he was only 3 of 6 for 20yrds and 2 picks, but according to those same imbeciles, he was just about to heat up, even tho he couldnt answer the questions coach richt would ask him when he came to the sideline. So when coach richt made the statement that "rosier gives us the best chance to win" alot of people chose to be volunteer moron's, as if coach richt didnt want to win. Again, coach richt knew what he was doing and dealt with the situation real and in house! Hopefully the clueless have read this article.

So, Coach Richt "knew what he was doing" yet these are the three hand-picked he left us with at quarterback?

Sounds to me like he should send a note to James Coley and Al Golden and thank them for signing Malik Rosier.

It was still Richt fault. Nkosi not being prepared was a direct result of the lack of accountability on Richts end.

Whatever went on offense last great is on Mark Richt.
So first CMR is ripped on here for suspending kids too much/easily, and now he is criticized for having a lack of accountability? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

It does if you dig a little on what accountability might mean in different contexts. Being accountable for 2 years straight of horrendous 3rd down conversion rates would likely mean making adjustments in the 3rd year. At least some attempts. Instead, we (and more importantly the players who live it) got defensiveness and justifications for "plays that have been working for 30 years." Being accountable for production > being accountable for life skills in this context. While they're intertwined, I think you're seeing more of a focus on the bottom line: football results.

I don't disagree with your post at all. But what does that have to do with the post I responded to, which blamed Kosi's immaturity, lack of dedication to his craft and his bonehead off the field issues on Richt having no accountability?

I misread your post for some reason. Thought it had to do with Richt. My apologies.

And listen to what Diaz said of Metocha: “When you start looking at the intangibles of the way we want to build our quarterback room … He’s a gym rat, smart, tough, loves ball, wants to think the game out, a guy we thought would really help us reshape the quarterback room.”

Love the quote on Tate & the quote from Diaz on Matocha, I'm certain he'll end up Redshirting this season & who knows what he'll do in the next 3 years here, but the key phrases is "gym rat, tough & loves ball".

In today's era of college football, you HAVE to have a QB that absolutely loves the game & spend countless hours studying film looking for the tendencies of the defense. Talent can only get you but so far, you need to have an edge & that edge comes from preparation. There should never be any surprises when you step out their on the field, every look & coverage the Defense gives you, if you've studied you shoulda seen it already.

That's why I'm a big proponent of always recruiting QB's from Texas, the TX football scene runs college level Uptempo Spread offenses in HS, so those QB's are being prepped to run those style of offenses from 7th & 8th grade. By the time they hit HS even as Freshman & Soph they're already ahead of the curve, which is why so many of them transition easily & tear it up in college.

Plus TX QB's have a sh*t ton of pressure on them in HS, if they mess up or fail they have to deal with their angry helicopter dad coming down on'em because he can't live vicariously through him lol

the problem with Rosier was that his original intent at UM was to eventually play baseball. Well, once that didnt pan out and Kaaya left early, he was thrust into a position that I dont think he ever imagined, himself

As for the rest of the guys, well, that was a circus and that room had no leadership. Lil Jon is why nepotism laws were created. People really have no idea just how bad things were last season with Richt and Co.

Bad as the news is, it's good to hear something about the QBs last season. Richt had his faults, but I think he legit played the guy who gave us the best shot. People are confusing the fact that guy didn't give us a very good shot with him not being the best option. Sometimes your best option still isn't good.

Enos has spelled out what he expects, and if these clowns still can't get it together, even with the starting job on the line, then I won't be at all sad to see one or more of them transfer. It's being handed to them, and the bar is real low...at some point you take responsibility and do the work. Or you transfer to East North Dakota State.

How did Rosier give us the best shot? How could anyone who watched think that? Sure he was the most mature, but that doesn't mean he gave us the best chance to win.

You seriously think Jarren could have been worse vs Wisconsin?

Richt and his son committed malpractice with how the handled and developed QBs. There's not really any aspect of what they did that's defensible.

I’m not defending Richt by any means but I’m sure no coach expects 3 QB’s to get suspended in the same season. Yes he recruited them but so did a lot of other schools. Richt did them no favor with his playcalling but you gotta look in the mirror too and grow tf up as a player...

Manny full beast mode players be warned get your head right put in the work and earn nothing is given to you and don't have that entitlement mentality.those who want to earn it will stay.those who don't will be gone.it will take Manny a year or two to weed out the prima donnas.then we will be kings of the hill again.

The only suspension that didnt come from Richt was Weldon's. Richt decided to suspend Perry/Williams, so thats on him.

Lasr season and it wasn't said but blame that **** on baby Richt. You need to be the leader of that room and set the tone for what the young men will be maturity wise even if you have to be an *******. Now Enos and Manny aren't playing that and Tate ia coming to not just play but dominate so Jarren, Kosi and Cade get your **** together, practice hard, be men not boys and earn the job
