Bama v UGA

Sooners have the #1 Offense in the country .... they lost 1 game by 3 points. Taint was trashed by Purdue

I agree. I think Oklahoma locked up their spot today IF Bama wins. If Bama loses, I think Oklahoma will be on the outside looking in.

I understand what you're saying but Rorcht can help by creating motions, shifts, unbalanced lines, and actually utilize the proper playmakers with the call. Also, UGA is drawing up quick plays to get Frohm in rythm and attacking vulnerabilities when the D changes
Motions and unbalanced lines? We can barely block with a simple o-line set. Let’s say for example Richt wanted to use that toss pass that UGA has used. It would require require the line to hold the edge since its simply an off tackle run with motion. Do you trust this O-line we field to hold that edge? Again, look at the difference in O-line play.

Your specific example aside, why can OCs all around the country scheme and do well with obviously less talent on the OL? The OL excuse only goes so far

Execution bro and coaching that execution.

1/4 of Sam Pittman = Coach Searels

💯. Now he may not have pushed the agenda, but he certainly turned a blind eye to it, and he was aware.

Exactly. Whether Richt was a fan of it or not doesn't really matter. Bags were dropped for the players Richt wanted. That was a fact. That is why he is sucking on the trail at Miami, but killed it at UGA.

But when the Bulldogs play a team that’s really good, the most you can reasonably hope for is that they keep it close. This defeatist mindset comes from years of watching Georgia get blown out in big games. Richt is part of that tradition: He is 12–15 all-time against higher-ranked teams. Contrast that to Alabama coach Nick Saban. He’s made a career of pulling off upsets, including the time his Crimson Tide defeated the third-ranked Bulldogs, 41–30, in 2008.
...
Hynes has wondered about the depths of Richt’s desire, and a couple of years ago, he asked the coach about it: Would you feel like a failure if you didn’t win a national championship?

“He looked at me like I’m an idiot,” Hynes recalls. “He said, ‘Come on, Chap, my identity is not in being a national championship football coach. My identity is in Christ. Do I want to win one? Yes. Is that going to define me as a person? No.’”

And there you have it.

This would be hilarious if Hurts comes in and leads the comeback win.

Richt would of started Hurts the whole year because he's a smarter coach. Richt is always a few steps ahead of the other coaches around the country. Very much ahead of the times.

Which is another reason y I said y r ppl so quick to say Richt can recruit? Let’s see how he does w/o those bags. Right now, this class is 25th on his own.
