Bama Game: Pre Camp notes from their side

Do we have anyone that would start on bama? I dont see it im hoping players being allowed to get paid now slows down their momentum
Question is if Bama would bring out players' talents. There are a lot of athletic mofos on this team who it hasn't clicked for, for whatever reason. Brooks, injuries... Chantz should break out, but who knows... Elijah Roberts is a DE chasing down folks on returns... TAC, Hall who Saban was desperate for. All of this talent, but can the coaches make the talent shine?

why is it that Hall is in the position he's in but Surtain and Campbell are in the NFL? Hall looked no diff from them in terms of potential prior to getting here.

i agree a tell tale sign will be when both teams line up you will notice bama’s players just look different bigger stronger faster i dont get it maybe it has to do with s@c were so far behind it is scary like i stated hopefully with players being paid now they wont feel the need to chase the bag and live here for that **** hole

He's not as tall or speedy. But he definitely looked the part in H.S. and flashed early on. I'm shocked he's not having a bigger impact.

I don't agree w/ Bama players looking diff but shoot we'll see. I think a lot of our guys look the part and have the athletic traits, but who knows. Lance Roffers probably

Those dudes were different levels of prospects than Hall even back then. Basically bust proof.

I agree with all of that except Saban not liking to play against our type of offense. ****, I don't even know what our offense is, it's weird as **** and very disjointed.
He doesn't like the tempo offense. Remember that Lashlee was in his forst year with a new QB that was new to him and the team. All while covid was running wild. I expect them to take a step forward on the pace.

Okay, gotcha.

How do you know Saban doesn't like an up tempo offense?

Either way, they've got all of fall camp to prepare for it. I doubt it's more of a concern than any other offense. They'll shut down everything short and dare King to try and beat them deep. If he can't it'll be a very long game for us.

they win double digit games every season, they will have a so called bad season and it be losing 1 game to a SEC west team and finish 11-2. Their ability to coach up players ability that were already talented is what made them into a dynasty that is never ending.
I still think they will win double digits. I just don’t think it’s going to 52-10 games like last season. I could see them getting tripped up on a game that keeps them out of the playoffs.

What? TS is head and shoulders better than couch. TS is the number one cb by a mile. Even crazier he’s been playing over weight because he was a star at Uga , he was in the 220 range. He’ll be 205-208 by game one. Him locking dudes down his one game at cb playing at that size is nuts. He’s called the freak for a reason.
Brother I hear you lol all I’m saying is I want to see it for myself. I know he’s a freak athlete I just haven’t seen him at corner. That’s all. I also agree TS is the better player. I said cover corner.

NFL talent with sky high ceiling and their best TE

“He does have a lot of ability, he can be a positive contributor on the team,” Saban said, “but he’s also got to buy into the principles and values of the team and be a good teammate and do the things that everyone else in the organization does so that he has the respect of his teammates. We’re certainly trying to help him do that, and hopefully, he’ll be back out there with us in a few days. We’ll see how that all develops.”

We better be able to stop the run early if not Saban will run us into the ground….The UNC game will look like a tight game compared to the pounding Saban will put on us…

If I'm Bama, I'd run right at inexperienced DE Zach McCloud... I understand injuries forced the switch, but goodness gracious - Starter at DE?!

My biggest concern about stopping Bama is our LB vs Young's legs. He isn't as elusive as other dual threat QB but vs our LB he won't need to be.

My money is still on Harvey starting , then seeing where chantz is. I see mccloud as a specialist but starting isn’t 0 percent. There’s a chance , but regardless we’ll be rotating, this won’t be like last year.
