Bama Fatigue

If I’m not mistaken, not ?ing the ratings, but sports in general since the pandemic have taken a massive dump in ratings.

I’m not sure if it has anything to do w Bama fatigue per say, vs. ppl being upset about “agendas” being pushed into sports that crosses over in the “p” word....the “p” word becoming very heavy on ppl’s mind, and the pandemic.

Yes, having Bama, Clemson, & OSU always in the mix makes it boring. However, playing the game on ESPN instead of ABC lowers the perceived value of the game. I know broadcast TV really doesn't make a big deal vs. cable, but if the Super Bowl wasn't played on a major network, wouldn't you think something was up?

If a network thinks a championship game is not worthy of pre-empting another mind-numbing episode of "The Bachelor", why should viewers?

Predicted this back in 2016...Since then Alabama has one two more titles and played in finals of another title game. The system is designed for the big money schools to win.

Some in the media are catching on, no douby finally jolted by the lack of ratings running up to the title game:

Cap the support staff, maybe even cap booster spending, actually catch a team cheating and nail them... any other ideas?
YES I HAVE AN IDEA. LET MIAMI BE THE MIAMI OF OLD. LET US DO WHATEVER BAMA IS DOING AND THEY WILL HAVE LEGITIMATE OPPONENT.

Most of the larger TV markets couldn't give 2 shets about CFB.
The NY/NJ metro area couldn't give 3 ***** about cfb.

It's the same 4 to 6 teams every year and no one cares at all about any other bowls anymore outside of the CFP. The best thing and only way to save college football is for a handful of these programs to get back to a top level: Miami, Texas, USC, Nebraska, Michigan, Tennessee, FSU, Penn State, etc.
