You hit the nail on the head. They made a commitment to make a change.
We seem to still be debating if we should have a debate about debating the decision to consider a possible coaching change.
Why do people think the younger players like him when we had transfer rumors every week from these so called younger players, to this day we have players that will transfer if they announce manny stayingI’m trying to think this through rationally, which is a dangerous proposition considering who our admin/BoT is. Let’s look at the pros vs cons of keeping Manny and firing Manny.
Keeping Manny-
Pros: Some of our younger players who like him will likely stick around. Players fought through the season for him. Keeps our already rough recruiting class in tact
Cons: he’s a terrible coach, horrible game management. Doesn’t develop his players. Ego is responsible for the absolute decay of our defense. Next years recruiting class is going to be just as poor. No Oc/Dc worth a lick will even think about coming here with his future so uncertain. Fan base will be absolutely toxic towards him. Game Attendance will likely drop to unseen levels, which is saying something.
Firing Manny-
Pros: literally cannot do worse at HC than him. Will get a much better game planner (assuming we get one of our top choices mentioned on this board). Recruiting moving forward will be better. New coach will likely be someone who will hold players accountable for mistakes. Discipline will be better by default because Manny is quite literally the worst disciplinary coach I think I’ve ever seen. We won’t have to watch DBs play 10-12 yards off when there are less than 3-4 yards to go on any given play.
Cons: some of the younger players are upset that they’re coach who let them do whatever they wanted with no real consequence and may leave.
Seems like a pretty obvious choice looking at it from the outside in. It would just be SO Miami to somehow ***** the pooch on this and we end up with Hernandez for AD and Manuela for another year. If it goes down this way, I’ll be hopping on the USC bandwagon.
It will be a blood bathIf he comes back we’ll be humiliated once again on a National stage immediately in sept by Texas A&M
That's so outrageous I just can't believe it to be true. And a “hired” firm threatening us not to interview Jurich.
What a sad time to be alive.
Manny would have us down 35 to 3 at half time and recruits clowning us all over social mediaIt will be a blood bath
That just seems to be the thing that’s coming out. The university is “worried about keeping the younger players” and somehow that plays a factor in deciding on Manny. That and the people who came out in their tweets talking about what Manny is “building”Why do people think the younger players like him when we had transfer rumors every week from these so called younger players, to this day we have players that will transfer if they announce manny staying
They also have been very quiet. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.Where the rumors coming from because all the people who are legit and credible have not changed their predictions. Lol
I don't understand that. That doesn't happen in the reality that I live in.And a “hired” firm threatening us not to interview Jurich.

its going to be Zo/Nuñez. the few times I've watched the flo guy he's always been wett with the info that he shares.
Right I understand and to be honest I don’t think they like manny I just think they are tolerating him and are playing hard for pride and playing hard for each other and not Manny, but he is a politician so him and his supporters are trying to spin it that way that the players like himThat just seems to be the thing that’s coming out.
