Kendrick Norton and RJ McIntosh both are on the bubble of making their teams.

Norton is 5th strong DT. He may have a chance at Practice Roster.

RJ hasn’t been healthy since he got drafted. I believe he was having issues with his Thyroid gland.

While they may get picked up by another team, this is a good lesson for players who aren’t projected to go in the top 2 rounds to not leave early.

Imagine the depth on our line if they did stay (and RJ was actually healthy).

I’m still rooting for them to be successful, just wish they mad better decisions.

Strong evidence year after year of these kids leaving here before they should yet they still continue to do it. It has to change.

Same **** different year with these players leaving early and barely making the roster or ending up on the practice squad. Started in 2011 after Golden’s first year.

they are not winners. clemson returned all american lineman. thats why they win. these kids did the kaaya. just try and get drafted.
I honestly think Richt wanted Kaaya to be gone. He wanted a qb who was mobile and look how much of a difference it makes. Rosier had some really nice runs last year and I don’t think he took many sacks either.

Look, Jaquan would've been a 4th-6th round pick this past year, now they are projecting him as a 1st rounder for the 2019 draft.

Not saying he will be drafted that high, but these days NFL teams value kids who stick around for their senior year much more than the player who just wants to get on a roster for the money.

It's called taking the path less traveled! That's where the most successful people prosper !

i mean he definitely wanted him gone but that mentality is the same with those kids. they werent winners.

Afraid of double-teams, and afraid of double teams while playing for free are two different things. You’re still wrong. The “not winners” line is over the top and unnecessary. If anyone is to be blamed, in my opinion, it’s Kul’s lazy-***. The one guy he brought in had to call him to recruit him (he still had to sit out 2018 at Oregon) and then he ran him off.

I’m not saying they won’t be missed, but I think the defensive front will do well without them.
ok. fair point. maybe if jess was here, they would have stayed.

anyway, forgive me. im just old school in my mentality. Im upset those two left, i didnt care kaaya left.

Another line I’m tired of hearing is the “they are trying to hurry and get to the second contract so they leave early” BS. How the **** half these kids going to get to a 2nd contract if they never get to a 1st? Ask guys like Tommy Streeter and Brandon Washington about a 2nd contract smh

Recruiting also entails recruiting your current players (I’d say let’s give a hand to Rumph and Banda for MJack and Jaquan but I know it’s still too soon for too many around here).

I like the Jordan pickup and Miami may have never thought to get him if those two had stayed - even though it was obvious bodies were needed. Remember when everyone thought Rousseau was a definite redshirt? Moved a backer to end and Patchan back from TE... Again, my anger is directed squarely at Kul.
well everyone around hte program seems to love jess. they say he is high energy and a great coach as far as technique. kids will take on his personality. im glad we also moved joyner to DE. we needed depth

The average nfl career is 3.3 years. So it would be wise to try to get as much money as you can when drafted. So it would b better to stay for 1 more year to move up and get more bank then to wait for a second contract that may never come. These kids think that nfl teams are going to sit on you and wait for you to develop. Not going to happen when your costing them money and they can get a free agent or work out an undrafted guy and pay them less for the same production your giving them. And if you get cut you have no degree.
And if you’re not in the nfl and are 👀 for a regular job wether it be law enforcement or government or at a big cooperation. That degree is huge.
But don’t take my word for it.

Norton isn't making the Panthers. Called that **** draft night..

Would be surprised if RJ didn't make the squad.

It is not worth it to go in the 5th or 6th round unless you’re a kid with first or second round talent who slipped due to behavior issues, etc. don’t know when these guys will get it.

Meanwhile Tony Molten is about to make the Dolphins practice squad. Which brings me to my next point. Don't smoke crack.

im not a kaaya fan but this is wrong. they are almsot opposites. Kaaya chokes in clutch, rosier has knack for big plays.
That’s why I think that he actually wins (some luck) but I mean he also made critical plays with his feet as well
