Butch could be named coach-in-waiting, and have him immediately take over recruiting. For the ncaa, he'd have to be an official asst coach (they'd fire one). Fraulden would ride out the season, lowering his buyout.

Butch could start lining up his staff, and hit the ground running on December 1.

I've been saying this since last year. Still hoping.

What interests me is that butch has been doing nothing but analysis recently, so im interested in what staff he would put together.

Pete Carroll, prior to taking over at USC, took a year off to do analysis, before his road to redemption.

Is there something that prevents us from firing Golden and Donofrio and brining in Butch and Schiano on Sunday?

Let them evaluate the staff and players and recruit rest of season. ?

Herman is a great coach. But if Butch is in play you have to hire him.

I think Herman will be great and go on to be a big time coach, but I KNOW Butch is great. He was the mastermind behind the greatest roster ever assembled. His ambition ultimately won out and he didn't get to enjoy the spoils from 2001-2003, but hes a no-brainer.

And when he hires Schiano the only thing we're gonna be two-gappiing is other team's b-holes and pwussies.

Hold the schiano though. He passed on being the head guy here so why come back to be an asst?
